  1. hell no you leave Randle...be Alexander or Fogg I'm sure
  2. Saving grace too is that he will miss a good chunk of next year..and evsn tho was a pending free agent i he is in our plans as we intended to lock him down. His significant money can be allocated to a possible free agent signing...and or toward say Mulumba.. byvthen time Moe is game ready he would be a prorated hit to cap in 2018 and a literal bargain if he comes back for last month or so and playoffs. Walters should be on the phone to Lokombo' s agent asap and offer big bucks for the balance of season and playoffs...with caveat that we would release him after season for a late season injury shot in NFL Would fill a big need and help with ratio..
  3. That whole team is a bunch of posturing clowns..act like a pro and as if you been there done that before. I'm sure glad our guys don't go to the extremes those clowns do when they make a play...sheesh!
  4. Jovon made that statement soley to have people respond and agree with him...his typical self gratification attempt to boost his ego...guys a putz and wouldn't start anywhere else in league but there..his time has come and gone...about in 2014
  5. As a rotaional Canadian...especially at that position we can, and should be better. Over the course of a season if you were to break it down he probably hinders the defense and is a major part of a play going against us, more than a consistent positive. If we are or need to do a rotation as such I think we could be better served doing it elsewhere...especially come cold weather football
  6. yeah true enough..but he got ate up and swallowed many times at the line and Green and couple times Masolli just breezed on into the second level untouched. Jake is an adequate rotation guy especially when he has limited reps, not a real force when asked to be out there as the de-facto starter and takes majority of the rotational reps, along with first team D-line (starter) reps Pretty much any guy on a defense can be said to have a significant play during a game.
  7. That's why I say if and when Mulumba gets here, put him in Hurl's role if we continue this scheme...he is more athletic anyway and is an experienced pass rusher, so would be head and shoulders better
  8. I almost think it looked like Corney may be an Achilles.. hope not
  9. After this weekend I see all those bottom 3 in the west being 7-7 Wally will have BC turned around and Edmonton has too much offence to keep losing....Sask bubble burst and aren't as good as their record indicates After that, it wouldn't be shocking to see BC go 2-2 over their last 4...Edmonton going 2-2 and Actually SASK only going 1-3 their lone win against sad sack Montreal. I see Ottawa going in to Mosaic and winning next week with Harris back, as well as losing to both Edm and CG Y as both those teams will have a lot to fight for still during their games and certainly Edm wants a bit of a payback game. And another losing record (8-10) on them would sure look nice as a bonus
  10. He says he will be playing on the ST's...so hopefully that gets him in the flow and some offensive reps...I'm pretty sure that Management would like to see how he does
  11. I hope he gets some reps, not like Addison Richards who dressed but stood on sidelines all game
  12. he blows...wouldn't want him...Corney gives us more and has more upside
  13. yeah...that's the only fanbase to not actually realize the facts that Winnipeg is a top level team. they are still on the delusion that our record last year and this is mainly due to lucky breaks, ref's incompetence and unsustainable turnover's which is the reason for our wins. That and the fact we have an inferior ham and egger QB who isn't good enough to win games...funny part of that is it almost exactly explains their team to a T
  14. Pretty sure JOnes will get impatient...he sorta has already this year.
  15. Maybe was a look see to determine if he is going to come to TC this spring
  16. yeah thats what I was saying too, that little burst was an aberration and not an indicator of what they actually are. You don't go from looking like a middling bottom feeder to a world beater the following week with the same line-up and weak depth, and if you ask me piss poor schemes and coaching. They are still bringing in guys, mixing and matching and have no real consistency or familiarity with one another...undersized D-line will kill them, and has already the last 3 games began to show once the weather gets colder and they still are trotting out Kevin Glenn as their starter...and we all know how he does when it gets to be fall and the games get important. The LDC game as well...if wasn't for us basically in a daze in first quarter should have lost that game as well....if you want to say smoke and mirrors as a reason for a record...look at the Rider's....No QB...No running game...undersized D-line, zero DB depth on game day roster, and on PR...and razor thin Canadian depth....what does that add up to down the home stretch and playoffs (if they get in, but I'm not sure they do even with season series won against Edm and BC)...it adds up to not much and an early...ugly exit
  17. Warner was a defensive end first time..and an animal When he came back has bulked up to an interior d-lineman body type and wasn't the same..good..but not a force like when he was an end
  18. That weak Sask O-line is going to have all they can handle with T.O's D-line to just keep guys off of Kevin Glenn...let alone have any success opening up holes for a run game. On the flip side I can see Wilder ripping off huge gains against that 3 man front and undersized Di-line of sask
  19. I expect not much...and most likely an injury.
  20. most likely game day roster depth...which on their part is a good move
  21. yeah the sacks allowed is a deceiving stat...pressures allowed is more of an indicator. Some of the sacks allowed are a result of Nicholls not trying to force a throw into double/triple coverage or just toss up something when he shouldn't be and risking giving up a pick. It's a result of a smart QB not turning the ball over and taking that sack if he cant just throw it away...and I am o.k with that as we keep possession of the ball. Also we lead the league in rushing yards per game on top of the least pressures allowed, so that tells you where our line is at...top of the league
  22. Actually not really the case....there was some real issues off the flied/behind the scenes which basically forced the Bombers hand in dealing him and saving face for both the organization, and for Roberts himself...was nothing to do with not producing, but played a part in his production not being Charles Robert's good but still better than most in the league
  23. Winnipeg has won all their games against teams coming of the bye this year i think...as well as won both of their games after the bye
