Well we will see how season goes, and where pundants say best d-line sits...and if you ask anybody in the know..or a full set of teeth...9 out of 10 would pick Jeffcoat over Leonard...and I bet you would too if you had the choice. Also...Hughes fades...did squat in the play-offs for mr stats guy...he got what 14 for year...none in play-offs..Jeffcoat got what ..4 or 5 I believe in the 2 games..and the d-line shut you guys down...and our o-line treated your d-line like a couple biatches..so who was more valuable ?

Based on stats like u mentioned..Nevis had 26 tackles..2 sacks and is a 300 pound run stopper Evan's had 15 tackles.. 1 sack..playing same role.. So would that not in the grand scheme of things make WPG dline stronger if he is back with basically the better ends seeing as Jefferson was your your dual award winner...and Jeffcoat is much better than Leonard..and Bryant is no slouch either...that is if Nevis is back of course

I would think Jeffcoat and Jefferson are best end pair in league..only doubters are sask..I remember everyone lauding dumping Leonard.. saying he was garbage..etc..now he's a beast?? Evan's is exactly over rated..what has he really done there? And dont say take up space for others to succeed..that's a load of crap..at at 200k a year? Yikes Thomas had better stats..with less reps..playing same position..and played all ST's on top of it..Johnson is good I give u that..but at 31 we will see how he does doing all the heavy lifting himself. Yeah we were pretty solid all around...plus we will have good money to toss at those second level guys to fill out the roster..the ones who help you be successful...when other teams will be not as flexable financially. There are some good names still out there..and they know money is gonna be tight at a lot of places now. I wouldn't be opposed to signing Filer now..and let best of Couture/Gray/Speller/draft pick battle it out for RG and 6th man and use the big ticket receiver money to land starter caliber.. or rotational depth nationals for defense..

And you have to look at throwing your SMS out of whack with a 250..280k who is not a QB Prudent g.m work perhaps..and there are still options out there...and trust me..ones you aren't even aware of..think back to out of blue opo signing A Mathews..Sinkfield ..Tolliver..healthy Arveneaux would help us immensely.. not like our offence was chopped liver and all skill guys are basically back again

I would have considered him our last option..so seeing as we have really not spent any big money in free-agency other than Jefferson who was just over 200k...we obviously have money We had money set aside we would have used on Chungh...elite receiver..and shed salaries....no excuse not to use it to nail down Mathews....if he wants to play up here that is and if he is waitig for NFL work still..then nothing w can do

200K would be my limit on a receiver...so Kudos for kyle for not caving in.. I too think Washington can be a dark horse...has the tools...got his feet wet and made some nice grabs last year....maybe he will be developed...he is still young enough

dark horse as well would be Rhymes...you have to remeber he payed behind Ellingson..Sinoploli and Spencer...so his looks were limited and put up a bit over 300 yards in 8 games..as a more featured guy...he could do quite well with nice size and speed

but really...other than the uncertainty of facilities..actually lack thereof in terms of practice etc. in T.O...What does he really have to see in other cities?...he knows whats what...

He knows what most teams facilities are..probably wanted to check out if T.O has actually built some kind of facility as opposed to busing around the city..and I sure it was more of a Jim Popp thing wanting to bring him there and go for the hard sell on him. The fact he didnt sign qhen the Argos said they basically planned to sign him yesterday is lending me to believe he is looking at the whole picture as opposed to maybe making 30-50 k more there, but playing in basic anonymity and no real fan frenzy
