  1. Jones.. what a classy G.M....what a circus he runs over there
  2. If we can win when our QB plays like a steaming pile..well I see that as a good thing...we all know that is not the norm...so why worry
  3. Yeah he did some good things for us..but we aren't missing him in the least..Demskis use/production far offsets what Westerman would have brought..and even without that our dline has been lights out anyway
  4. An impact receiver would be more benefit than a safety..Loffler hasnt been his usual self but in no way is hurting us or costing us games..tho another threat on offence has huge implications
  5. If Dressler is out next week..would love to see what Tompkins and Washington could do coming out of the slot together...lethal
  6. Gotta give major props to Poop and Nevis..dont get the sexy stats..but they are the reason our ends are killing it and Biggie and JSK are being machines.. those two occupy usually the whole interior oline and disrupt where the running back wants to go..and end up diverted right to our linebackers. And just a note.. Hurl if still there would be missing ans whiffing and always 2 seconds late to the play resulting in long extended drives. Biggie has been the best thing for this defense and the best thing that could ever have happened to JSK...he best be buying him a doosie of a Xmas gift
  7. Our national players have scored more TDs than the whole Rider team..as well as OTtawa..Bc..Montreal..and are tied with T.O....pretty damn impressive. And Simonese and Peterman have yet to score
  8. The one deep ball though to Tompkins.. If the ticat didnt cause PI and slow up Tompkins he grabs that ball in stride for a TD..but the other long shits..mainly to Adam's were awfull
  9. Yeah I rewatched it at home..was gonna say they did mute it..didnt sound nearly as loud actually didnt sound loud at all but it was deafening if u were there. You couldn't even here the in game announcer stuff over the TV either so they had to have toned down sound..wonder why as it really adds to the game experience on tv..stupid TSN I'm sure rider putzes are probably saying that they are louder as it wasn't loud at IGF last night
  10. 1.. Gotta give the crowd credit.. that last Hamilton drive was in good part to them..Hamilton was frazzled and couldn't function at all...loudest I have heard it in a long time. 2..Biggie is a beast.. and he just brings out the best with rest of front 7 trying to match him..what an addition he was. 3..Harris...had a fumble but got the tough yards we needed and his fire pumps up others. My thoughts on Randle tho was yeah he had a bad game..he seemed to be too conscious on just keeping the little speedy receivers in sight and not getting burned deep and didnt want to look back at qb to see where ball was for fear of them getting away from him and him being in chase...and it burned him bad..on at least 3 occasions if he just played his usual game and turned to the play he breaks up the play and could have had 2 picks...oh well.. sure he will learn from it.
  11. From my vantage point here Nichols is just looking off tonight. Not seeing open guys in the mid range and out wide and forcing things...should change it up with Strevs
  12. Maybe we can pull a sask riders and say visiting locker room A.C is broke like they did lol
  13. Reilly sure relies on just throwing it up there hoping for the best..they are not as good a team as their record shows..I think BC is a bit better and if Lulay stays healthy and they can tune up their lines a bit they aren't bad. On another note the win puts Sask in a tie for last in division and has to have them a bit worried
  14. I'd be interested ..
  15. Listening to Pederson makes you just want to stab yourself in the temple with something sharp...guys just a major tool
  16. yeah watched it several times...you clearly see the ball and the point where the knee touches down..all the claims that you couldn't see the ball at all are B.S...First time I watched the reply during the game I said that he was down....and the fact the live mic on the sideline actually caught Watford saying he was down prior to crossing the line is just more confirmation the Command Center made the right call. The Harris TD against Montreal was called right as well....hard to tell if knee touched before he crossed as one angle it looked like it may have...and one angle looked like it didn't...so inconclusive means you can't over turn
  17. I think the old spot..downtown..St B....would have been poor places...where it is I think is the best spot, and it's the only area of the city where the city can expand with proper infrastructure to sustain/service it...Working in the Civil Engineering/Land Development industry that is exactly where I and many I know would have built it based on forecasting..economic growth and population density, especially with majority of the population that will be new..younger families as well as to connect with the university aged crowd etc..etc... Revisit the issue in 5 to 8 years and see the only complaints will just be coming from the same people who feel they have been slighted from having their convenience now become a bit less convenient
  18. I think too you may see more teams go the route of the Atlanta Falcons and a couple of other places and introduce the fan friendly pricing for concessions at their stadiums...an investment in the fan experience like that will pay big dividends and put more money in a teams pocket than is currently happening across N. America
  19. Thing with football on any day a piss poor offense can own a good defense...and a poor defense can own a great offense...but it has to be looked at as a over all picture if you ask me. Some teams schemes match up better against other teams and vice versa and while still maybe give up more yards and points than another teams defense still win. 7 games in is a good marker of where you are at as a unit..and generally defenses from my experience trend upward whereas a lot of times offences may peak and trend down as teams learn their pro's and cons Currently as it stands We rank 2nd in points given up/per game..2nd in takeaways..3rd in TD's given up..1ST in sacks(tied)..3rd in net offence allowed..2nd in Yds against/per play..first in penalty yards against (one of most important if you ask me) and 2nd in points off of turnovers which I include in a defensive teams stats... So pretty good indicator of where this defense sits against other teams in the league and for the most part the couple teams hovering around us in the stats categories have played generally the same teams or weaker eastern teams for the most part so to say our results should be tempered because of opponent, then the Cgy's And Sask's of the league should have their defensive stats tempered as well because for the most part, both have played a schedule to date with the same weak offenses,
  20. you can only play the teams on the schedule as you go...if the defense had continued the trend they were on, then yeah it would be a concern, but they seemed to tighten up and change their scheme....so I would dare to say they are much improved from the start of the season...we shall see
  21. Maybe this is John Murphy's big chance to show he has the onions to do a G.M job...hahahahahaha....or finally have it exposed he has been riding on coat tails his whole career and is waaaayyyy overated
  22. Not totally true...we sit 3rd in rushing yards against...and 4th in passing yards against....so basically in the top 3rd of the league in regards to yardage given up, and 2nd best in points given up....so the defense has actually improved and progressed as the season has gone on. I think something was said to Richie Hall...or perhaps "suggested" in terms of scheme and how personnel are deployed and has been reflected in the results the defense has put up the last 4 games..
  23. we have 22 as well actually
  24. yeah but if they win Sask is in last place in West lol
