Wilson showd good poise...also the willingness to hang in the pocket under durress and find...or try to find a guy BUT.....he is also mobile and can/will run and from what I saw of him in TC/pre-season and in his college career he has a nice ability to throw on the run and with a moving pocket....perfect fo up here....great potential with him...will it be realized...or give a true chance to?...thats the question

agree....or be more apt if a guy just doesn't have it on a particular to pull him if not for a series or tw0oand let the back-up take over.....see if he gets some traction, or at the least allow QB1 to see what's going on .....HC's have really got away from that. Gives the back-up valuable reps, and sometimes throws a big curve at the other team's defense and get's that spark...

yup....augmenting a bit for next yr it would like like now..as opposed to the whole sale changes I think if we keep one of those 3 it could be Wilson in the role Ayers had if we dont unearth a new gem...Limited abuse and reps may keep him out of the tub....brings the vet role to the LB's and you know if an in game injury he would be more than adequate We need to abolish the global punter next yr and if there is a big interior global in the draft....target those guys. Not sure where we will pick in the Canadian draft but I would focus heavy on the interior of both lines with our first several picks too

we have effectively due to injury on defense anyway did a sneaky in-season transition.....and to be honest was only way we were gonna do it based on or coaching track record We have totally now integrated Griffin...Bonds...Cole....Ayers and Jones as solid pieces going into camp next yr....Woods...Adams and even tho we havn't seen much of him Fox are 3 guys we can totally build around and if we get a legit DE to compliment WJ and allow him to be rotated to be effective and play more pure get after the QB work....and a solid 3rd guy in one of Garbutt/Person.....As I think Haba has kinda taken a step back/and or isn't still 100 percent we will be looking good going into 2025....youth....and experience now Lawson taking Thomas right out of the equation would be the ideal Nat guy to rotate in....and Like to see us just start Ford as the only National, so we can sub/roate in guys at will.

they have all been basically the same...I think it ore the scheme....Lucky when he catches the ball has basically nowhere to go...and is walled right in Was the same for Case....similar with Smith tho he is a bit more adept to running in traffic Lucky tho....is safe...always gets positive yards and has the explosion factor there if they ever get him a seam....Plus he adds a lot to the offence if used...I fine moving forward as it is....I'd like to moreso see our Punter win the filed position battle and show the threat he could flip the field if needed....in 2 yrs...have not seen any evidence of that

Griffin can play multiple spots so we should be good...Kelly as well ids very versatile and underrated....next to Ford I would say he our best National DB

I wish the Depth Chart would show how many nationals they designate on each side of the ball so we could get a better handle on the rotation aspect If we only specify 1 on defence.....Having Ford as the guy....and in an all import 30 front with Ayers/Jones/Wilson/Griffen....damn.....that be lights out in front of our defensive back field and no reason why we couldn't/shouldn't run heavy with that rotating WJ/Woods/Adams/garbutt/Haba in multiple formations

if we went with this lineup now to close out the season...and let gel....we be looking pretty good....especially if the offence gets it's act together Timing of this personnel wise could not have been better

prob our best all around balanced lineup of the yr.....if all healthy....and rotated in a beneficial way.....could be a lights out unit...so much flex there and ability to do multiple things on defence...I giver a 2 thumbs up!

yeah I never looked at the remaining....just figured he was gonna amount to nothing, but that's the Canadian draft...a few gems late round....some legit guys early rounds....but basically just a crap shoot now as most the top guys re NFL bound if not for few yrs right outta the gate Thats why I would like to see the CFL do a quasi 3 round draft of NCAA guys and if you sign and develop one on the roster have a new designation for them above and beyond the ratio numbers almost like a global...

Yeah he would have been a better oline convert than Adamson...as soon as they announced they were doing that, basically was in my opinion that's the end of life r and last we will hear from him..he didn't have the oline body type...mind u he was prob never gonna make it as a dline guy either...was a crap pick...not sure who was available still when they grabbed him..but I never liked that pick

Curious to see the rotation and who is where in certain sets, but if used well be i think a pretty aggressive defense I would also like to see us put Karamoko in for Weitz as well....He can be used on defense and offers the same if not more on Teams

Actually kinda looking forward to this upcoming depth chart It may be the most balanced and healthiest one all yr If Cole and Adams are on....to go with Ayers , Jones and Griffen it may just be our most athletic front 7 all yr...

seems like what I think too...tho maybe if Lucky cant go....which I am sure he will it be worth a look at Hart....we know what Case is...and its pedestrian at best....Sometimes the injection of an unknown....Like Grant when he showed up...is the spark the teams need...Hart has NFL experience and been around a bit....not like he a fresh ouuta school guy getting his first shot

And effectively you should have 3 to 4 support guys coming down hill on it. Even better with athletic dline guys with backside pursuit motors
