  1. maybe he will take his goofy surf board to the ball...havn't seen much of it the last half of the season.....again
  2. found it interesting..and funny that every time a play failed for them you would see Bo look around for a flag...hooping dearly and it never materialized for him
  3. Exactly...and proven versus Calgary..Defense was influenced by Harris fake on Demski TD, And the possibilty Strev kept it, and we saw the result...same with his 24 yard run for TD in fourth..CGY had to basically pick the poison on staying with Streveler, or Harris on the outside pitch....and at times with either of those guys, they don't go down easy, and rarely at first contact and takes a concerted multiple guy effort..so even if they pick the right guy, it's usually after netting positive yardage
  4. pretty sure Osh won't let over confidence and cockiness creep into things...This team doesn't seem like a group to do that...thee doesn't seem to be any one individual who thinks they are above the team here, and if one emerged then the leaders would nip that in the bud...I think Gaitor's dismissal is an example of that..regardless of the outcome I think it's gonna be the best game of the play-ffs to watch....
  5. they have electricity..runing water in most venues and streets are paved
  6. and his higher tackle total is because teams run at him..or to his side...not due to his pursuit and attention to detail in containing the run...I bet he is a non factor in the game and you don't hear his name save for an off-side or a RTP passer call
  7. I don't see that defense as that good...highly overrated if you ask me
  8. End rusher..they have one..Leonard is average at best Sacks are nice on the stat line..but we were right on their heals in sacks...but we pressure more to get picks...most in league..extremely more beneficial in the grand scheme of things
  9. hahah...i don't hate the riders....just that laughable fan base And I cheer for the Lions and want to see them succeeed ....except when they play Winnipeg
  10. he is just doing...how do they put it over there??..??...ahh yes "nut licking' to stay in the good books hahaha
  11. the last 3 playoff years games involving Wpg have brought in over 1 million viewers....but apparently Rider games fuel the league according to...Rider fans...even the play-off year we both played we drew over a million and they didn't...guess that shoots another one of their theories down eh?
  12. Well let me see...we lead the league in rushing...again...and almost set the all-time record for least rushing yards allowed per game over course of a season...Jefferson is MODP in West and certainly the league this year...Bryant is West Divison Most Outstanding O-lineman...for 3rd straight year and should win it again for 3rd straight in league...If anyone says that Winnipeg doesn't hold advantage there then they are just utter fools and obviously Rider fans....coincidentally utter fool and Rider fan goes hand in hand
  13. YES...its still in my repertoire as well...that 4th quarter was as close to total line domination that you will see...I expect 4 quarters of that on Sunday
  14. Neufeld as well was key on that pull...after the first few games getting back up to game speed he has been more than solid and at the right time too...Images of him steam rolling Rider dlineman in last years WSF bouncing around in my head and taking Judge 15 yards down the fteld then tossing him down like a kid and calling him a biatch never gets old
  15. and just imagine being on the filed and involved in it...TV gives no justice to the speed of the game one bit. Makes me shake my ead sometimes when fans say "why didn't he throw it here"..or "didn't he see that guy there"...**** moves so fast and furiously at times that you don't have a nanosecond to look ..see..or decide...thats why experience is so key and reps..reps..reps make a guy good...you react and instructively do things without thinking or deciding which 90 percent of the time is the difference between success and failure in a play
  16. awesome...thiings you don't see when not at the game...or at least i didnt notice it on TV Just like at Banjo Bowl..they didn't show it on TV but after one TD he grabbed a flag from one of the flag dudes and proceeded to jam it into the turf..if it was a natural field it would have stuck in the ground...
  17. I post on both...enjoy both equally and don't really notice a real difference...the one thing that I notice at the other forum is that there are more fans there who are just that fans...and don't have extensive football knowledge or back ground in it, but are hard core fans, and they use the forum as an avenue to learn and educate themselves, and seem appreciative for it Here you have some savy vets of the game in varying degrees, which leads to a bit more intense and at times heated discussion, and a bit more mud slinging, but I find that fun and entertaining and rarely offensive in any way...if yiou can dish it...you gotta be able and expect to take it right back
  18. Well if he was bringing up schemes with Beneviedes he used pre-game and how he hated what he did against him, pretty certain he still remembers what Sask was doing the past 2 years..and this could be integral in the game..
  19. Love me some Hardrick! Saw Drew on Monday...didn't see no apparent injury issue with him
  20. This West final is shaping up into a similar situation as last years West Semi when we went into Sask and ran for 201 yards and held a 5 min T.O.P advantage. But I think this year this team is better built for this playoff style...Harris is not as banged up..Nichols was playing with a couple ailments, and our defense wasn't as good as this year, and we didn't have Jefferson which will be huge I'd be shocked if we didn't roll up the same amount of rushing yards, if not more as going in this year we have a motivated QB whom I am certain wants to stick it to the Rider's and his ability to push the ball downfield will open up more running lanes, and once the ground and pound gets going in a game it is really hard to stop it and it's really demoralizing on a defense.. We are as healthy as you could want, save for Strev's foot but that didn't seem to stop him, almost spurned him on even more, so if the guys lay it all on the line we win...because across the board there is more talent (and depth) wearing blue than Green and thats not just looking through blue glasses..anyone who thinks otherwise isn't a very good judge of talent
  21. They didnt and cant handle our run..or oline ..we had 186 on ground in game with augustine in for Harris...195 on ground in banjo bowl..and 116 in final game where we only ran it 21 times..that of the piss poor game plan we employed that game So we ran for 497 yards in 3 games..and see more of the same in WF..especially now they have to respect the pass I wouldn't be surprised to see close to 200 on ground..if not eclipsing 200
  22. Yeah..I see Willy feasting on that Oline...almost sense a no doubter victory...
  23. Will have to thank Rod for giving Zack even more incentive and fire to rip them a new one..u can already tell he is motivated to stick it to him when he is biting his tongue not really commenting on it..cant wait to watch it unfold
  24. The basic essence of offensive play calling and scheming since the beginning of time
  25. Fear is setting in nicely
