Look back on game highlight this year..Nichols hit many a deep shot on a dime..guy in stride and to the house...It just got to a point wher we went pretty much right away from doing much of it..as we didn't have to. Most games in the 7-2 stretch he was a part of were over by half-time..so we played conservatively..It bit us in the butt in a few games, but that happens with momentum in football..sometimes it's hard to get it back...Like Mike says..I bet with a healthy Nichols...The results would have been the same..Matt knows our offense inside and out and there are a lot of aspects of it he runs really smoothly...which we didn't do much of with Zack basically because he wasn't polished in it. If we go into 2020 status quo at QB...we will be just fine...is it ideal....who knows but we will have 2 vets who are familiar with what we do..

yeah he has done wonders with CGY receivers...if lapo bolts then we do need a receiver coach..

Just noticing on Panzer Hansen's big hit, that he basically engaged his block about 8-10 yards from point of smashing Williams and bulldozed him the whole way..basically picking him for the last 5-6 yards and more or less tossing him into Williams...man that guys has gotta be a beast

he's had some health issues himself...tho he seemed to be fine this year and was running around...was he not using a cane for parts of last year?

I thought I heard how his deal was broken up that he is due a bonus in Jan though technically his contract is done, but not official until February in the Free Agency sense..now did he structure it that way to help the team out for 2019 for signing other player, which I think is the actual thing to be honest, so knowing how this regime works..they will not burn him and cut his butt to save that sms cash. That is what leads me to believe he will be re-signed/restructured going into 2020 based on a few things Oshea said.

We will be coming back to 2020 with Nichols and Streveler to start the season..and I am fine with that, but pretty sure it will be determined in TC who the starter will be to start the season...Don't want Arbuckle here...too unproven and we just saw what that lack of experience did to Evans, who I think is a better QB than Arbuckle Masoli is already 32 to start 2020...coming off an injury and will be new to our system and players and I would bank on Nichols injury allowing him to be ready for camp at 100 percent before Masoli. I think the bigger key for our QB situation is who will be calling the shots and designing the in game schemes at OC.

Yeah I think, and would be fine from within...we seemed to reach another level when Hall was absent...then reach another when he came back..perhaps there was a collaboration of what Young and Younger did with Hall's system and we got what we got...Alexander's position switch and Maston Taylor additions as well as Jone's emergence allowed us to do some different things as well, which can't be understated

If Hall decides to retire...where do you think we look...Pretty sure team will ask him back...and I am all for that...nobody seems to be focusing on that

we do...some teams have extensive lists where a ton of starters are due to have bumps..we ar sitting pretty good...

If he goes he goes..we will be fine...we got full value from him for the 2 game cheques it cost us. He wasn't the sole reason we won the Cup this year...The defense in my opinion was...he played a safe game..no turnovers...did what was needed...much like we did all year with Nichols and lesser extent Strev...so if we end up with Nichols back..and fully healthy..another year developing Strev, and using him more liberally..no reason we won't be successful

they had that o-lineman as well who was busted...and their guys were caught full blown saturated of a common regularly used drug..not trace amounts of one you can't even get unless under ground..and one not used generally by high performance athletes..

makes for great potential to bring all the key pieces back to try and repeat..I would bet only guys who won't be back are guys we are wanting to move on from, and any who might get an NFL shot...

Pretty classless and amatuer move by the XFL to do that...Perhaps Elizondo just quits then,,,is that not what he did to Ottawa...go interview/talk on the sly and if they say they gonna hire you..Quit the XFL...It wont be around long anyway

Yup he was jawwing at Adams all game...among other people...total mouth piece and was still talking disrespectful nonesense even late in game when they were getting destroyed..kinda funny and sad hahaha

figured as much...because he is free....and no player would agree to have another team dictate what he could get on the open market with a caveat like that...
