It’s time to hand the ball to Kevin Glenn

Yup..we need to motion and spread the defense..get guys moving pre snap to see who is spying Strev..and where there coverages are. Need to have guys clearing out between the hashes...utilize Harris as the outlet without 7 guys in the box..and if we do a lot of Qb draws and keepers theres more room Also they have to show right out of the gate that we are going deep...I'd prefer a 2 and out with 2 deeper shots right out of the gate..preferably from 2 different launch points than a conservative predictable 4 or 5 play drive and a punt -
true...but still not worried haha
-
trial by fire is the best teacher...push the field..expect mistakes...but play to win...the smart one will learn...and become good...pretty sure Streveler is a smart one and I hope we turn him loose
-
not worried about them in the least...where are they better?...and that's not even looking through Blue glasses...plus their dline is banged up...and they have zero depth to compensate any more injuries...I'm more concerned with Schmoes over taking us...mind you they play each other back to back at end of season with a lot on the line so one of em will be losing
-
I think .500 over the next 4 games is attainable at worst..and with all the west teams having games within the division moving forward they will always be a couple teams below us at the moment losing too...so the 7-2 start..and being unbeaten so far against the West really helps us. Not that I would wanna go this route, but realistically looking at things, 2 more wins most likely secures us a cross over at worst..4...probably at least the WSF....

played tennis in short white tight shorts too I assume??..........

anything over thunk is just plain poor coaching...You have Harris..Strev...Lucky perhaps in motion in the backfield...try and pick your poison -
4 to 6 weeks ago haha
-
I would hope they bring Macallister back...if he's willing
-
For sure..any structural damage...especially with a shoulder it would be slinged at the least, or pinned down immobilzed
-
would be smart of him to make that conversion...especially with the 2 QB only allowed to be on game day roster...he'd be the perfect emergency QB in a game where the back-up gets hurt..
-
Kongbo did say he did..and can play in the tackle position...proving himself right

nope...and when at the 10 or closer..ground and pound staright ahead...no fancy crap...get in..get out...repeat when necessary -

i'd go deep over and over throughout the game...stray away from Lapo's MO of doing something that works then abandoning it... -
he would make a good slot receiver..and the option to use him as a throw option on a lateral pass would be intruiging
-
Lol...Used to be a long haired guy until I had to join the "real" world...multiple long haired mowhawks over my time...and 80's hair metal creations
-
Exactly...and the Fajardo shine will come off pretty quick now too..as he really only feasted on the T.O's the BC's and OTT...even though still lost to Ottawa CGY made him look like what he is..career backup...He has us 3 times..Cgy again..Edm twice..Montreal twice....Pretty certain he will struggle mightily in all those games...those are different defenses than what he has his wins against
-
all we may be looking for (if Nichols is gonna be out long term) is a guy solely to back-up Streveler...and one with at least some CFL experience in case he gets hurt...if he struggles...he struggles but we will ride it out with him and hopefully he learns from it and progresses...which I fully expect him to....it's NOT to replace him as the starter Another name that prob be worth looking at or considering is Alex Ross...knows the league...knows our playbook from being here last year..and is still relatively not too far removed from the game as he did have a stint in the AAF
-
I'm growing mine out too...but prob more due to midlife crisis and wanting to still be young haha
-
Thing with Bridge...sure not a guy who's gonna go through all his progressions..but he can stretch a defense...and like Streveler can run a defense ragged...so if Strev got hurt we could still employ the same offensive scheme... I truly think Willy is beyond fixing in his head..
-
Yeah Rogers looked decent as depth..but no way was he unseating our Bryant and Hardrick...though was quickly picked up by Montreal and started for them...think he got hurt there then let go...

It's time to hand the ball to Streveler.

as bizzarre as that is to say yeah if we win probably 1 more game we are a lock to cross over at the worst..go 500 to finish out most likely host WSF at worst..having not lost a game to west this yr as well also helps our cause in any tie breaking scenario -

Thing is with Strev..even if he is just adequate..and doesnt set world on fire if he is able to make all throws..shows he can sit in pocket to let things develop if need be as well as take off..progress through reads but has hiccups due to at times seeing things for the first ..and inexperience...but shows he has learned my limiting them next time...then that's the sign we need to see. You extent him with a healthy base and bonus and playtime incentives.. you cant not do that...cause by all accounts.. and watching some interviews with his college coach..he's an unreal leader and highly intelligent...
