Canada is doing well and I see no reason to change governments. The ndp would cripple us financially and Trudeau is not a leader nor can he be trusted. Harper is the best option. Strong leader.

I'd rather hear rod black than Westwood. So brown is an easy choice. walby makes tsn's pre game listenable.

What a great way to start it off

Let's hope Neufeld steps in and does well. Our oline needs to set the tone early.

I have three questions.... 1) Why do you need to carry around a gun? 2) Have you ever needed to use it to defend yourself and/or your loved ones/property? 3) Do you train regularly in use of your gun to maintain proficiency? (like the police and armed forces personnel do) 4) You may trust the gun in your holster, but I don't. And I don't trust half the psycho's out there who do. 1) I don't carry a gun. It's illegal. But if I could I would, simply because if rather have it if I ever did need one and hope I never would. (Ever had a neighbor break down your door and try to kill your roommate?) 2) No I have not. But could have used one once if I had one at the time. (See above) 3) Yes I know how to use a gun and am a pretty good shot. 4) Not a question.

I really don't get this kind of thinking. Having more armed people in the theatre would have done nothing but let more bullets fly (IMO). The gunman ambushed those people, so he was getting off shots before people had a chance to do react regardless. He might not have died by his own hand if there were other guns, but the end result would still have been the same. After a couple of these types of shootings, I'm surprised there haven't been increases in security at theatres... metal detectors at the very least. At least there hasn't been increases up here, they may have done that down south. Exactly. One guy starts shooting, and then you pull out your gun in a dark theater and start shooting back, and you can't see well, so you start shooting at what you think is the guy and end up hitting an innocent bystander. There are many cases were armed citizens have thwarted robberies and such.

And a large majority were suicides. and the next in line was gang violence. and gangs will use them illegally anyways.

I've said it before, I hope the next contract goes to multiple stations to get some competition. .....but I doubt it. the cbc was terrible at the end as well. And now tsn has fallen into being a joke.

I would like to see trump get it. Who wants the old tired and elite-picked puppets. Say what you want about trump, but he's not afraid to speak his mind. Kind of refreshing, whether you agree or not. Clinton vs. Bush........what a joke that would be. The bank-backed turd show.

All governments would love to have their citizens to be completely defenseless. Makes the sheep more easily herded. I oppose governments having too much power. yes people die by guns, but they die in many ways. I'd rather trust the gun in my holster than the gun wielded by authority. Too bad so many people are brainwashed by media to believe all gun owners are homicidal conservative nut jobs. Most are law-abiding citizens. Criminals are criminals and will have guns regardless, so why make the honest people defenseless?

I mentioned Berry based on his stubborn and unwavering faith in Serna. Didn't win a cup and in Berry's last year had the worst kicker in the league by a long shot. It takes ALL phases of the game to win a cup. Sacrifice one phase of the game based on personal loyalty = no cup. Yet berry was the coach who finally had the guts to get rid of horrible Westwood after years of futility.

Funny you mention Doug berry. Why was he fired after three seasons then? We made the playoffs every year under him.

Firing o'shea is a bad idea. it's way too early. He gets the year at least.

I'm not in favor of blowing the staff up. We're 2-3 and firing the staff would be sacrificing the season.

Suicide is always a tragedy. But it's never the answer. Buy sadly people succumb everyday. We are tested everyday of our lives and sometimes we fail with tragic ends.One of my favourite sayings; If God brought you to it, He can get you through it.

I don't hate people but I'm not going to accept their sin as normal and OK just because the media tells me to. I don't accept that lying or stealing is OK either. Mutilating the body God created for you is wrong, whether it's chopping off your genitals or pretending to be something you're not. I pray for those who have fallen into the trap, whether they hate me for it or not.

Objects and symbols can also change their meanings over time. There are many examples, which I'm sure I don't need to name them all.So, with that in mind, what if the Confederate flag changes its meaning into a symbol against government control, tyranny and the stealing of our freedoms? (Which to me seems to be happening) If it does, I would fly it.

Didn't you get the memo?Bigotry and hate are allowed against Christians. To address other posts; A real Christian doesn't hate the person, only the sin that keeps them from God. Hard to hate someone because they sin, since we're all sinners. I dont consider Jenner a hero by any means, or worthy of an award. Only because all award shows like this are fake and mean nothing. Just like the Oscars and the Grammy's.

I was just home in Manitoba for almost 3 weeks and the roads were worse than I remember just two years ago. It's time to start building the roads properly and spending more now than later with repeated band aids
