Apparently one positive case had 85 close contacts. C'mon man...
-
Maybe when less than 10 of their friends came over to the house for a visit? Just a thought.

Of course it is. Remember who gets the profits from it...
-
Just checked...we've now passed Saskatchewan for 5th place in total cases in Canada (behind Quebec, Ontario, Alberta, and BC). C'mon Manitoba, let's get it together!
-
Is that what the kids are calling it these days? π
-
Nice to see a low daily total - but geez, seems like not that long ago we were below 500 total cases and only 1 active.
-
Mainly due to the run of huge daily counts (50+) from a couple of weeks ago being deemed as "recovered", but excellent news indeed.
-
βA lotβ? I think the bias caused by whatever Manitoba did to you is starting to take over your keyboard.
-
A fair statement, however every jurisdiction seems to still be struggling with the whole issue of people not self isolating when they should be. It just seems that recently certain posters have painted Manitoba as the epicentre of COVID cases thanks to our surge in counts while failing to realize that other places are having issues too. Our #'s are lower than elsewhere for whatever reasons, but that's not arrogance. No one in Manitoba is saying "we've beaten this thing". No one.
-
So you're saying that the higher test count is the primary reason why Alberta has about 10x the case total despite only being about 3x bigger population-wise? Seems I've heard that argument somewhere before...
-
While 29 new cases is still more than weβd like to see, itβs also worth mentioning that active cases (now 409) and the five day test postivity rate (1.2%) are both trending in the right direction.
-
5 day test positivity rate is now 1.4% (was 1.3% yesterday). Maybe that will make Noeller feel a little more comfortable about visiting Manitoba. Maybe...π
-
Around here we call that "pull an Alberta". π
-
Does that mean you've cancelled your planned trip to the insane asylum so you can stay in the COVID-free paradise that is Alberta? π
-
At risk of sounding like Donald Trump, if they did test close to or at daily capacity then there is the chance of more positives being identified. That might freak some people out.

Good point. I laugh at the people that call it "plain". I'd like to see the rings they have. -

You said "there isn't much to learn", then list two things. Good job contradicting yourself. π And my diamonds reference was just an example. I never said they definitely had meaning. -

Will be interesting to learn the meanings behind various features (e.g. there are X number of diamonds because ______). -
Awesome! π But seriously, keep up the good work Manitoba.

I don't think Don Cherry was involved in the Grapes restaurants that were at Kenaston & Grant, on Main near York, on Pembina (Pier 7), etc. His restaurants were called "Don Cherry's Grill" or something like that.

I look forward to when most commercials don't start with "In these uncertain times...".

Kind of ironic because people from MB heading to NWO would be the easiest to enforce (only one road in).

Is it Is it really...?
