  1. considering we're on pace to surrender nearly 500 yards again I'm shocked we're only down by a TD. Hopefully Lapo and the offensive minds get something going in the 2nd half.
  2. This team is clearly talented and very deep. But I don't think I would have posted this thread after taking Montreal the woodshed. They are high school level at this point. That being said I am confident we should giving Hamilton a run for the money next week without Matty Ice.
  3. I mean this with zero sarcasm, I am genuinely impressed with how a lot of posters can just dust it off and move on. I am so over the top frustrated with this team it's actually really hindering my enjoyment of the game. Watching this D continue to sabotage our club makes me want to put my skull in a vice. I'm of course ever hopeful for better results next week but man.
  4. And our defense once again lost the game. This is a really new development we should keep an eye on hey?
  5. God, seeing MOS and that god damn **** eating grin of his after watching Hall et all lose another game for this club makes me sick. If MOS isn't willing to get a new DC he can **** right off too. Absolute trash.
  6. Great signing
  7. I'm disappointed we didn't do more on defense and we focus so much on offense, frankly.
  8. Would love to see some improvement on d... I feel like it's weird our first batch of signing were all on offense.
  9. I guess illiteracy is up on the board. If they don't make signings I will be disappointed. I suppose we can't say that now lol?
  10. I'm hoping for big splashes of spending on the D today. If not, what the hell? We bring back the same D coordinator who's had zero success and then not even make some personnel changes?
  11. Starting to worry Hall doesn`t get fired
  12. I`m no MOS fan but comparing Trestman and the Argos to the Bombers is a bit unfair. Toronto finished first in a putrid division and then won a Grey Cup thanks in large part to huge mental break downs by the Stamps. If we had played Calgary in the Cup final we would have won too with their mental game so poor.
  13. Can't resist, I have to weigh in on this Nichols and Walters/MOS thing. Is there a giant memory wipe going on? Do people not remember the mood around the team last july before Nichols started? This team was in free fall. Maybe MOS isn't fired at 1-4, but, do people really think he survives a 4 or 5 win season? It's great that we're experiencing success but let's not pretend that Nichols didn't save MOS' job and perhaps Walters. That is the revisionist history here.
  14. Halls run the worst D in the league for 2 years in a row. Time to go, along with several crap players who are too dumb or too stubborn to play in a system.
  15. god damn it what happened to my thread lol.
  16. According to a lot of people here lapo is a world class oc. I disagree.
  17. Bumping this topic because he's our warrior behind centre. Dude played with a broken finger, lower body injury, and still played great. Dude named his little girl (middle name) Winnie for Winnipeg. This guy is the starting QB we've needed desperately for years and it looks like he's not going anywhere anytime soon. Matt deserves a half way decent defense and he deserves some more depth at the WR position. But regardless I wanted to once again give thsi dude mad props. What a year, what a leader. Thank you for saving us from Drew Willy and god knows what we'd be like without him.
  18. We beat the Riders for the season series, and they're moving on because they crossed over in the crappy east. I can live with that. The season was mostly a success even though the team heavily lost momentum as the year closed out. 12 wins is something I can get used to. Playoffs were against disappointing and marred by our HC making another stupid decision at a critical moment. I guess we'll see.
  19. In the light of day my rage has subsided a bit. We have our QB and that's important. But I really do worry about next year and what this management will accomplish. The red flags were all over the place for the D since game 3 or 4, and it appears that no meaningful remedy was attempted. This regime appears to be stubborn as evidenced by their insistence to play Drew Willy until their very jobs were on the line. MOS also seems to make stupid decisions in game a lot, and may have cost us 2 playoff games with terrible decisions. If Hall departs and significant upgrades are made on the D I'll be hopeful for the new year.
  20. I wasn't pointing this at any specific person here, especially you.
  21. "i dont know my ass from a hole in the ground when it comes to football but im a better fan than you because losing is ok with me!"
  22. You should feel ashamed not to put Nichols on this list.
  23. How anyone could possibly disagree this was the turning point is beyond me. Did our disaster of a defence play a role? Yes Did our offences lack of scoring play a role? Yes But the turning point, make no mistake, was that stunningly stupid fake
  24. You can't fix dumb. And Michael O'Shea is the dumbest coach in the CFL. I'm not saying that he is dumb; but of all the coaches he is the dumbest. This is this year's version of the 68-yard field goal, or whatever the hell it was
