The way this team turned around with Nichols and the O line last July says it all to me. Before that we were one of the worst O's in the league. Keep in mind were first in points scored. Im willing to bet were middle pack for yards and yards per play. Will check that later.

It's hard really to properly thank this post, outside thanking it and expanding like I will. You can really tell who's emotionally invested in this team and have been for the last 3 decades when failures like this do exactly what they did; they rip open old wounds. This team has been a failure like none other since 1990, going on nearly 30 years. In an 8 and 9 team league. So I don't bemoan anyone who goes off the deep end after this team lays another steamer on the carpet. The only thing that fixes this is a championship. Everything else including regular season success is noise.

If you aren't ready to make a judgement on this defense after the last 2 seasons of data, I have no idea what would settle your mind. Maybe they should purposefully take a knee every play and let the opposition score at will?

Huff and company delivered Calgary a Grey Cup in 2014 and 2008. What a sham of a post to even dare to bring the Stampeders into contrast with our organization. This defense is beyond trash, and with key injuries on offense I see us getting absolutely pummeled by Edmonton. Zero playoff wins since 2011. In a 9 team league. I honestly can't even fathom it, and while the west semi is in 2 weeks if someone gave me the odds I'd bet my house straight odds we lose.

Let's not forget this is the management group that gave Willy the keys to the organization and only put Nichols in when the team was a dumpster fire and their jobs looked on the line. They wanted nothing to do with Nichols as the starter.

It's remarkable how stress free my day has been knowing I'm not going to tune into the game today. I took my 19 month old son for a walk, did some dishes, and then napped for a couple hours. I can dial up my blood pressure in two weeks. Hopefully the Bombers are at home, and, if not, I'll make the drive up the road to stinktown and watch.

The D was garbage. The O did what they had to, to deliver a win. An easy, under 40 yard field goal. Our high priced kicker blew it, period. Trying to shine up that turd is pointless. The offence should have, once again, bailed out our crap D. I think I may just check out on the last 2 games and see what the semi has for us. But I suspect its more of the same
