He's the worst starting goaltender in the NHL by a country mile, and, it really says a lot about your opinion you think he's ok lol
-
This really sounds like the nonsensical train of thought people would use when attempting to defend pavelec.
-
The chat was salty all around.
-
When your out of arguments it's easy to attack other posters as we're seeing above. Willy has demonstrated so clearly he doesn't have what it takes. But keep harping on stuff people may have said years ago. Lol.
-
Only game four man. *head back in sand*
-
And we're paying this guy over 400,000 a year. lol!
-
still on track to be 1-5 and I still say he gets canned if we do wind up as a 1-5 team to start the year. the stands were empty, as Mike predicted. Fans are booing Willy and his lousy quarterbacking... tick tock Iron Mike, tick tock

A wasted D performance, tonight. They showed up and played fantastic against a really great Edmonton offense. Willy and co. again left many points on the board and can't finish drives. I said it before and it will be repeated: dink and dunk is only fine if you can score points. Otherwise its just stats masturbation.
-
Sounds like you dont even need a message board then. You can just yell at a wall and get the same thing out of it, it seems. Since you clearly know not only what everyone else is thinking, but, how people will react. What a gift. Or a curse?

I'm telling you that it would drastically change my outlook. And I'm probably the most jaded Bomber fan you'll find, who really can't stand MOS. All you have to do is take me for my word.
-
I hope you realize how incredibly fallacious your post is. You've constructed an impressive strawman; first you're assuming we win, then you are engaging in a debate against mystery posters making arguments no one has literally made. Bravo. A new intellectual low.

This is becoming an absurd argument. We're almost reversing our roles here, where, I appear to be more excited about a 2 game win streak than those who were thumping the Bombers chest after a win last week. I suppose the reasoning behind it is, to insulate themselves and the team in case we get our asses kicked tonight?
-
I think you have to be almost purposefully wanting to disagree for the sake of disagreeing to think that a win tonight won drastically change peoples mindset of the team going forward. Think of all the losing this team has endured, the ass kicking in week 2, and then to win 2 games in a row vs perhaps the best teams in the CFL in a lot of peoples minds? Cmon.
-
Yes and I talked about todays game, why I think we may make a game of it, but also said something that apparently gets some peoples underwear in a pinch. Simply that todays game would be quite a turning point in silencing, or, provoking this football teams critics. Perfectly onside point to make.
-
Great. So do I. But that's totally irrelevant to the discussion of MOSs future
-
No, that's wrong. O'Shea is feeling the heat from the previous seasons. Pretending they don't exist and all that matters this year is utter denial.
-
The people who are saying that now would be silenced with a win tonight. and with good reason. If the Bombers lose, sorry, it does feed the narrative. This isn't game 4 tonight of MOS, it's game 40 (? is that right). Already though I can see built in excuses being made. Excuses are for losers. If you want to take credit for a win against a banged up Hamiton, then we have to face the music with a loss tonight. That being said I have reason to be excited tonight. I think our D is turning a corner and if we can keep them fresh we can make a good game of this.

tonight is a great test against a very tough opponent. Should answer some questions. Hell, if we win that's a couple wins against very good teams, and , .500 4 games in. Not too shabby. Lose and we're 1-3 and a lot of people will say that our win against the hammer was due to Collaros being out and an absurd number of Hammy turn overs. Very pivotal game. Looking forward to seeing the teams response out there.

The underthrown duck that was a 50-50 catch or interception?
-
I wish this post didn't have to happen. no one is disappointed we won. But it's a little early to be throwing a party. The reality is we did get their 2nd string qb who played really poorly. I praised our D heavily and they turned mistakes into points. Our offense, while they couldn't finish drives, did keep their D off the field. But no, let's continue to incite more stupid bickering right?
-
Edmontons defense is ripe for the picking. They've been a total mess. Edmontons offense, tho, is quite dynamic right now with the CFL's best qb and perhaps the best RB too. Lots of weapons. I'm very interested to see how we stack up against them. Next week vs Calgary? Who knows. The CFL is very much all over the place so far with really no team establishing themselves as the clear #1.

Week 3 (vs Ham...Now With Depth Chart)
White Out replied to Noeller's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Please dont attempt to take the high ground and suggest I'm the one acting in a childish manor. People were making valid points that we have to score and that gettings lot of yards is fine unless you can't actually finish. Valid point. It was jpan who came in and threw his hands in the air and talked about how he couldn't hack it anymore. Right back at you and jpan.. grow. up. -
Week 3 (vs Ham...Now With Depth Chart)

Perfect example of a troll being a troll. I discussed how good our defence was, and, that they were the difference. Never used the word luck or fortune. But you are simply reading what you want to read. I attribute this win to our D being tenacious and taking advantage of a very bad 2nd string QB. It wouldn't have been enough to simply force them to punt last night; our D actually went the extra mile to manufacture turn overs off mistakes and even score, too. But you can't help but read it the way you want, can you? Your constant trolling is boring.
