The hold back lots of tickets until the current block is sold. Guarantee there's more than 2,000 left. Much more. Could very well be but there are less blue tickets (available seats) on ticketmaster then a week ago. I doubt they would deliberately hold back more and more tickets week after week. Some of those tickets have been sold in the past 5 or so days. We will see blocks of tickets become available in the coming weeks not doubt, but I'm not sure it will be to the extent you believe.

Looks like more tickets have been sold on ticketmaster. Whether many of those have been significantly discounted is anyone's guess although that could be one the reasons for Wade Miller's proclamation of expected profits in the range of $3 - $5 million. $2 million is a significant disparity and might be attributed to the possible discounting on a large number of tickets. Regardless, it appears there are only around 2,000 tickets available for the Grey Cup so progress appears to have been made.

If the Bombers win this week in Vancouver and follow that up with one victory in their back-to-back games against Ottawa I will have a reason for optimism. Please show some progress by actually winning a few games.

Small consolation given our current status but it must be embarrassing getting stomped by a BC team missing its best defensive player and starting a rookie QB. And to think Rider fans thought they had a shot at the playoffs after last week. Reality has set in.

I'm a little disappointed we couldn't get a stand from the defense when we needed it at the end. It's Liram's fault first, offense second obviously, but still it wouldn't have been nice to limit the Eskies to less than 30 yards and keep them out of field goal range.

If O'Shea refuses to bring in some legit competition for kicker next week after the horrible performance on display it will only add support to the fire O'Shea cause. There are only 4 games left in the season but there is absolutely no excuse to stand pat with Liram and no one else.

Team still struggles to finish drives. Liram is number one on the blame list for this week, but that first half was atrocious from the offense. The time of possession also heavily favoured the Eskies - 22 min to 38 min. Unfortunately, Bellfool will be looked at as calling a good game solely on second half stats. As long as he is fired a the end of the season....

I really don't care if he made the final field goal. He still missed 4 and a convert (I'm thinking he is the worst at converting converts this season). This should be grounds to bring in some competition next week.

Yeah a little over a month ago the sales were around 26,000. Maybe they have sold 6,000 tickets in the last 6 weeks?

With the elimination of the temporary north end zone seats capacity will be in the 36 - 37,000 range. A month ago, there was around 5000 available seats (shown as blues on ticketmaster) in the upper deck. It gradually declined to the approx. 1000 seats left now. While I'm sure there are some seats that are being held back, I doubt the club would deliberately remove seats from unsold status to sold status over the course of the last week.

I took my weekly look at Grey Cup ticket sales and it appears there has been some significant movement in seats. I would estimate there are only 3000 left. Of course, not all the grayed out seats are sold, but I think it's safe to say that only a few hundred more of those will be made available over the coming months. Provided they didn't have to give too many discounts or freebies, props to Miller and the Grey Cup marketing committee for this bump in seats sales. There should be a legit sellout with the way things are progressing.

If he makes it past this year, O'Shea will get a one-year extension just like Claude Noel did with the Jets after his second season.

It was an entertaining game and we were in it until the end. The better and more deserving team won though, no question about it. Dominated the time of possession and total yards. Questionable calls were not the downfall of the Bombers, the lack of offense in the second half was.

Ticketmaster all out? Why pay full price? And people got mad at me when I called Winnipeggers cheap. If it's not on sale not interested! It's the city motto. Only four games out of thirteen this season with over 300 total yards from the offense. Two of those against the worst defense in the league - Saskatchewan. When you can't manage 300 yards in the vast majority of your games something is wrong with the game plan, especially when you have either Willy or Nicholls starting the majority of those games.

I know he won't be fired until the end of the season, but here is yet another game that serves as a damning indictment of Marcel's offensive game plan. 270 total yards and only 90 yards in the entire second half. Third quarter was horrible with no really attempts to stretch the field with intermediate or long passes - something that worked in the first half. Calgary's defense is not that great, certainly not elite like Edmonton's or hamilton's so I really don't think 270 yards can be considered a solid effort by the offense. With Marcel at the controls I don't see this team gaining 300 yards of offense against the Eskies. Defense will really have to bring it next week.

Heard Irving on the radio saying he got a text from the league saying Bastien was at fault. Strange because the referee that pulled out his hankey was on the other side of the field. Seems strange but we should have a better idea in the coming hours or day.

You can continue to state this until you are blue in the face, doesn't make it true. Check and see how long the Argos kept Etch, Stubler and Andrus. Didn't prevent them from signing Milanovich. Hamilton fires Marcel in 2011, Cortez in 2012 and still manage to hire Austin ($$$) in 2013. Money is a huge factor for those guys. If the Bombers paid Austin what he's getting in Hamilton he'd have to assemble a volunteer coaching staff and personnel department. Big difference between privately owned teams and community owned. I'm aware of what Austin is paid. The Bombers could afford him if they wanted to..even with the debt payments. Our stadium generates much more revenue than Hamilton's

Nicholls is a decent backup but not an ideal long-term solution as a starter. Too many miscues and mistakes. Moves the ball but is also prone to an inordinate number of INTs and fumbles. Solid performance tonight despite the mistakes. I will be fine with bringing him back next season as long as the Bomber braintrust brings in some legit competition for the backup role.

It's one thing if Muamba signs with Toronto or Hamilton to be closer to home. That I can understand. If however, it comes down to money and he signs with Toronto or Hamilton, then Walters has some explaining to do. No excuse to be outbid by those teams. If anything he has to offer more money when factoring in the probable lost playoff incentives for this season.
