Some have mentioned SMS savings in moving on from Bailey. Would we really want the team to do that? Is he really hurting the salary structure as it is? Sure a rookie is cheaper but Bailey has proven to be clutch at critical moments. Would rather see rejuvenating the foot soldier ranks, like Augustine, Kramdi, Briggs level guys.

Twice that exact kind of miscue has happened with Kramdi in that spot. Both times he heads straight up the field with virtually zero contact with the rusher coming straight through the spot he’s vacating.

Other teams do it to the Bombers all the time, though it’s certainly magnified when it’s a qb getting hit. At Montreal Woli makes the td reception, gets shoved hard from behind and skitters across the stupid track and into AV equipment boxes. Sask, Ott and Edm all have defenders that love hammering guys after a TD. Should be called more since the rule is a TD and play is done once the ball in possession breaks the plane of the goal line.

Well this game is turning to sh!t. Bombers need to sharpen the hell up and get the lead out.

As others have said, defence not taking advantage of the wind. Love Nighthawk but he’s not a punt returner and the team nearly paid the price. If the offence can get out of 2nd gear it won’t be pretty for Calgary.

Nice cool weather for a smash mouth football game. Pundits keep pumping Awe’s tires while the Brady-train already crushed their LB core earlier this year. If the score is close, looking to Dru to plunge the dagger Zach-style in the late stages.

Like JBR said, looked like Dru ran the full offence last game. It wasn’t like Buck suddenly dialled up a bunch of hand-offs and 5 yard curls. Will say that the screen play on Brady’s td was a thing of beauty, with textbook setup and execution. Nice to see that the Bombers have that in the arsenal… absolutely hate watching our defence get eaten up on screens so it’s great to finally see the O dish them back out.

The football side of things in Edmonton is pure tire fire… so yeah the YEG homegrown marketing guru who has founding and building a $1B sports marketing business on his resume is the problem… -edit- just saw JBR’s post.
