  1. Love Khari but I can’t wait to see our guys smash his yappy team to smithereens.
  2. *edit* sorry this turned into a loooong post I was twelve in ‘88 and fourteen in ‘90 (there my math skillz prove I’m not a rider d0uch3bag). I don’t remember anything except what I’ve been told about the ‘84 GC team. But after the 1990 Cup win I believed we would always be in it and win it way more than not. The spectacular Dunigan seasons of ‘92 and ‘93 were pure misery at the end, but weren’t enough to shake my belief that another championship was just around the corner. Then came 2001, and 2007, and in 2011 I was sure that Buck Pierce and Swaggerville would break a Lions team that had allll the pressure on their shoulders. I’m honestly grateful we’ve had progress and plenty of good times the last few years with O’shea’s teams. I’m also the kind of fan where a regular season loss kind of craps on my week until the next game - and the playoff losses are seriously tough to take... but hey the lows are part and parcel with the highs right? Fortunate enough to watch the games every week with my parents the last three years. My dad turned 75 last year, and my mom is a cancer survivor. Both diehard Bomber fans since they came to Canada in the 70’s, and after we moved from Leaf Rapids, MB to Edmonton in ‘81, my immigrant parents often went to Commonwealth to cheer for the Bombers while completely surrounded by hostile Eskimos fans. Anyways it’s one of my greatest wishes; to witness another Blue Bomber Grey Cup championship with my folks. My mind knows it’s nothing we fans have any control over, but my heart wants it so bad, hence plenty of heavy drinking to cope. IN CONCLUSION, Mr Speedflex I totally get where you’re coming from, even if our opinions on team building differ from time to time!
  3. Let’s not forget that Streveler only had two college seasons as a starting QB before coming to the CFL. Both highly athletic and intelligent - he’s already got a masters degree in sport management. His second go as a CFL starter has quite an encouraging trajectory. His passing will only get better as the game slows down for him.
  4. Money Hunter with the helmet to helmet aaaand washes out his own bench with a brainfart sideline tackle... lololololol
  5. Absolute bull-sh-i-te. The sad thing is you just know if the Bombers played that way they would be called for it all day everyday. If being a Blue Bomber fan wasn’t etched in my DNA, I couldn’t say how much longer I’d give two sh!ts about this league.
  6. Craig is lucky Osh got pulled away... when our fearless leader gets that fired up... oh yeah there gonna be a beatdown next week
  7. I would even suggest that if our *receivers* could help Streveler out by catching the ball, then his game automatically balances out. The Bombers just faced an amped up Eskimos team in a very hostile environment, in the rain. When the next best defence in the league know what’s coming, and STILL can’t stop the Bomber’s run game, then I’m not too worried about the risk of being one dimensional. On the other side of the ball, as others have suggested, the Sask offence is about to get punched in the mouth by a real defence...
  8. If Streveler hits his stride, how about sign him long term and let Nichols go in the off-season. Could save cap space and keep both Bighill and Jefferson. I think Bighill is going to keep rounding into form.
  9. I’m actually glad the redblacks sucked as bad as they did against Sask today. They’re high on their own juice, just like Edmonton was after destroying TO. I’m expecting our guys to march into New Mosaic and make it rain watermelon tears.
  10. The game plan was to run, and there were 4-5 drops that were on our our receivers. Edmonton either sent the heat, or left lanes open trying to contain both A. Harris and Streveler. Oh and it was raining. Trevor Harris got big yards on some bad busts, but the Edmonton O was left having to throw the ball because they couldn’t run for sh!t againt Mr.Drake & co.
  11. I'm still so buzzed this morning about the Bombers beating that classless, loudmouthed, dirty Maas team. All night long -while losing the game- the esks are beaking and shoving after the play, pulling schoolyard intimidation moves like walking through Bombers players just trying to get to the sidelines. About god@mned time they got called for spearing, and that clown money hunter shoving the ref was pure gold. As long as Maas is in charge, that team will never change when it comes to discipline. Oh and I live in Edmonton and will quietly relish the long faces and handwringing at work on Monday
  12. The prospect of not going out on your own terms is tough.
  13. Aaaaaand the joke goes whizzing past overhead
  14. Crap play calls crap execution
  15. Holding? Never heard of it...
  16. League bailing the Als... League trying to win a game for the Argos 🤷🏻‍♂️
  17. Argos much better than the Lions, betrayed by their own non-standard end zone in BC’s only win. They aren’t good but they try. Bombers having a hard time living up to their high potential... psychological imho.
  18. Poor blitz schemes easily telegraphed, and used way too much.
  19. Such a shame there are only 75 people there to appreciate
  20. Kate Beirness trying to blow sunshine at the panel Kate “at least we can say there is HOPE!” Matty “uhhhh I think NOT... and here’s why...” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
  21. More headshots from Edmonton D... my god these guys are dirty trash
  22. Agree that the refs were complete crap tonight. Strev robbed of a td, the cheap shots, one sided chincy holding calls, poor spots, etc... On the other hand it’s amazing how a short time ago this team didn’t have the horses to beat their opponent AND bad reffing. Now they’re just too talented, too deep, too well coached and too hardworking to let bad officiating ruin a game.
