Not much to complain about with this weeks roster. That’s about the best they could do with who is here and all the injuries Agree the number of rookies in the secondary is pretty scary

Totally agree. I injuries have been rough so far. Two huge game breakers missing on offence and then basically a whole starting defensive line and the best cover man on the team (not to mention Parker who probably would have been starting)

Probably memories of Lapo’s offence doing nothing to show case his ability when he started in 2019.

His first year he looked terrible. I’m not saying he’s not going to be great. It’s just too early to say.

That pick over the middle was classic Zach. He’s always thrown ones like that. The underthrow pick in the end zone against the Als he had a dlinemen right in his face. have we even seen Brown face pressure yet in his career? I don’t know how you can say this with such confidence based on such a small amount of playing time he’s had. Let’s see how he does over a full season where he certainly will face more pressure that he did against the bombers 4 remaining dlinemen

That’s true. He’s being paid to be the best. Nobody in the league can do it all by themselves though.

You said yourself that it was pretty much worst case scenario for him right now. Why wouldn’t you expect that to affect good accuracy or ability to make reads? There is no QB in the league capable of casting his team to wins on his own.

All QBs would struggle with the scenario bolded above. Zach can’t do it all by himself at this stage in his career. He’s always been a QB that will attack and throw some picks. His accuracy was fine against Ottawa. He can still be a winner but needs some support from the rest of the O including some more mixing Strev in

I wouldn't say I'm optimistic about a turnaround, BUT it is something that could happen.

Only silver lining on this start that I can see is that if there is a time of year to get your ass kicked and flaws exposed this is it. Cups are often won by the team that gets hot late in the year (see 2019, 2022, 2023)

No Lawler, Olivara, Nichols, Haba ,Fox is a lot to over come. The whole interior of the oline looks terrible.
