    According to BBC, there are several dives per year down to the Titanic. There are NO requirements for safety, although most submersibles have redundant systems. Even so, only about one in five dives actually reach the wreck. Not a lot of room for optimism.

    I do not argue that it is not inevitable- it is. There will be no "final resolution" accepted by all - there will always be Luddites. The process of conversion will not be quick or gentle.

    The transition to renewable energy sources will be a fraught with dissent and lumpy at best. I recall reading newspaper articles from the 1910-1920 era which bewailed the movement from horses and oxen to gasoline-powered lives. Many were fearful and even hostile.

    Report out of Toronto today indicate that Mitchell suffered a groin injury. Will be out for a month at minimum and not very frisky, either.

    You ability to drive is affected by many other factors than just your BAC. There are reactions to prescribed meds, dehydration, stress, psychiatric conditions OTC meds, your age, gender and if you are a heavy drinker.
