'Unparalleled in its audacity and scope': Herschel Walker implicated in 'jaw-dropping' wire fraud scheme Failed United States Senate candidate Herschel Walker (R-Georgia) — who had the backing of former President Donald Trump — has been implicated in an "unprecedented," "stunning," and "jaw-dropping" scandal involving crimes such as wire fraud and campaign finance violations. Late Wednesday evening, The Daily Beastexclusively reported that Walker solicited "hundreds of thousands of dollars" from billionaire benefactor Dennis Washington in March of 2022 "for his own personal company—a company that he never disclosed on his financial statements." Correspondent Roger Sollenberger revealed that "emails obtained by The Daily Beast—and verified as authentic by a person with knowledge of the exchanges—show that Walker asked Washington to wire $535,200 directly to that undisclosed company, HR Talent, LLC. And the emails reveal that not only did Washington complete Walker's wire requests, he was under the impression that these were, in fact, political contributions." Sollenberger noted that "in the best possible circumstances, legal experts told The Daily Beast, the emails suggest exponential violations of federal fundraising rules; in the worst case, they could be an indication of more serious crimes, such as wire fraud." That, however, represents the tip of a gigantic iceberg of alleged corruption. "According to the legal experts who spoke to The Daily Beast for this article, this scheme appears to not just be illegal—it appears to be unparalleled in its audacity and scope," Sollenberger wrote. "The transactions raise questions about a slew of possible violations. In fact, these experts all said, the scheme was so brazen that it appears to defy explanation, ranking it among the most egregious campaign finance violations in modern history." https://www.alternet.org/unparalleled-in-audacity-and-scope/

Marjorie Taylor Greene: 'Very likely' impeachment articles coming over alleged Biden crimes Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R) said Wednesday that it is "very likely" that articles of impeachment will be introduced in connection to an alleged pay-for-pay scheme involving President Joe Biden (D) when he was V.P. In a "breaking news" video released by Greene, she said America "deserves to see what Joe Biden - as vice president and now as president, and his family members - what they have been doing and what it's doing to this country." She claims a whistleblower came forward to reveal records that purportedly tie Biden "directly to foreign nationals in an alleged pay-for-play scheme to influence policy decisions." Republican Investigation Of Joe Biden For Bribery Falls Apart Before It Starts With all of their other Biden-related scandals failing, Rep. James Comer (R-KY) and Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) now claim to have a whistleblower accusing Biden of taking bribes, but their information is unverified, so it is another GOP show.

Giant phallus-shaped iceberg floating in Conception Bay surprises residents of Dildo, Canada A penis-shaped iceberg floated by the town of Dildo, Canada, which isn't too far from the city of Spread Eagle and the town of Placentia. (Image credit: Ken Pretty) It doesn't get any more apt than this: A photographer from the Newfoundland town of Dildo has captured images of a penis-shaped iceberg off the Canadian coast. The suggestive 'berg consists of a column with a domed head protruding up from two oval rafts of ice. Photographer Ken Pretty captured a shot of the ice formation by drone near the town of Harbour Grace, which sits along — the puns keep adding up — Conception Bay. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the "dickie berg," as locals are calling it, has attracted international attention, with Pretty sharing news stories from as far away as Thailand and Taiwan on his Facebook page.

Apropos of my post above: A former FBI supervisor has been arrested for multiple crimes related to the 1/6 attack, including breaching the Capitol and encouraging rioters to kill police. CNN reported: Investigators say that Wise, who was a special agent and supervisory special agent with the FBI from 2004 through 2017, entered the Capitol on January 6, confronted officers and encouraged other rioters who attacked law enforcement. “You guys are disgusting. I’m former—I’m former law enforcement,” Wise allegedly told the officers during the interaction, which was captured on body worn cameras. “You’re disgusting. You are the Nazi. You are the Gestapo. You can’t see it. … Shame on you! Shame on you! Shame on you!” Prosecutors say that Wise also encouraged other rioters who were attacking police in front of him, shouting, “Kill ’em! Kill ’em! Kill ’em!” Trump has radicalized parts of current and former law enforcement. The Secret Service destroyed 1/6 attack evidence it is assumed to protect themselves and Trump. The 1/6 attack wasn’t an Antifa or an FBI operation as the conspiracy theorists claim. It was an attack carried out by people some of whom were or had been law enforcement against American democracy. People who had taken an oath to protect and serve turned on their fellow law enforcement officers and tried to attack and kill them, or in Wise’s case, encouraged others to attack and kill them.

In a recently aired interview, Lightfoot said that his opus magnum was "The Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald". He apparently had the tune rolling around in his head for months until the boat sank and he was inspired to create the lyrics we know.

Unlikely this was aimed at Putin as has been purported by Russian media. It was either a false flag operation designed to increase support for Putin or a deliberate targeting of a iconic landmark to show what could happen.

Agreed about Lynch's version, but I was referring to last year's film with Timothee Chalamont.

I would bet that we have the only Bermudian pro football ever signed. -
Murphy sounds like Nic Demski 2.0.

Best wishes for your continued recovery. The less analgesics you can get by with, the better- all Rx analgesics help with the pain and inflammation but also hamper your immune system responses, not to mention the constipation from opiods. But it does get better.

Russians media are preparing for a possible defeat on the battlefield. The Kremlin has already sent instructions to state and pro-government media on how to communicate the possible success of the expected Ukrainian counter-offensive.

Because they were able to identify the neo-fascists in the US that were egotistical, and self-serving and therefore corruptible. The NKVD (Russian version of MI6) was much more successful in penetrating US, French and British intelligence services using this model than vice-versa.

You are prescient! I ma intrigued by that d-lineman from the Excited States whose name was added to the draft pool at the last moment. On paper, he ought to be a darned good NI nose tackle.

The Russian military has repeatedly proven themselves utterly incompetent in every facet of their war effort- military action, logistics, medical support, public relations, morale, leadership, recruiting, and discipline. They are very close to collapse.
