  1. In truth, this year is the best I've seem Harris play since he took the RBs to the Grey Cup win, and he has also taken some heavy hits and did not fold. Maybe he is aware this is probably his swan song and wants to go out a winner,
  2. Maybe Harris might run into him.
  3. He could probably manage that.
  4. Nothin personal against Fajardo, but i hope he gets pummeled so hard today that he will hurt when he farts.
  5. He was born and raised into that, but stayed out of trouble after doing his time.
  6. Plus, there were rumours that he had indulged in those behaviours in college. Carey didn't even try for that one.
  7. Argos look like they have thrown in the towel, even on defence.
  8. HATED that signing- plus he was no good.
  9. Tight collar and probably a tight sphincter as well.
  10. They are gonna try, but I am hoping Collaros has enough steamboats to find secondary receivers.
  11. Its a given that the Rider defence will key on Oliviera, Demski and Lawler, so the game could be won or lost by Wheatfall and Wilson.
  12. Agreed. By this time of the season, all of the wrinkles should be ironed out and injuries compensated for. O'Shea has a LOT of goodwill in the bank in Winnipeg, but even the other very successful coaches in the CFL eventually lost their mojo and had to be replaced. Some of his decisions have been real head-shakers and it seems to me that they have been increasing. I would love to see him shake off his foibles and dazzle us all.
  13. Football and sports in general being what they are, I could live with the Riders winning Saturday, but losing due to O'Shea's insisting in playing inferior players when better ones are on the bench, OR Collaros pulling a disappearing act again will infuriate me as it did the last two Grey Cup games, when the game was winnable but given away. If Collaros chokes again, the rest of the team should help him pack and drive him out to the perimeter.
  14. All these are nice assets but do not compensate for the loss of speed and the poor decision-making he was showing when last on the field. But in the Free Press, he was quoted as if he expected to be the starter in the WSF. Given O'Shea's history of favouring old players over better, newer, younger one, who knows?
  15. Wheatfall is gonna be a star but we need him to be that star NOW.
  16. He is a big asset tot the passing game and blocks very well downfield, but Clercius is a good replacement, just lacks game experience.
  17. Which makes me wonder who is going to age out first- Tui Eli or Kolankowski?
  18. Suspiciously missing from this thread is Tui Eli. He was touted as the center in waiting we have been hoping for and a dominant lineman, yet, apart from the odd outing as the 6th lineman in dire passing or short yardage downs, he has sat a lot. What the heck happened? Did he piss someone off?
  19. Goodbye Boston Celtics?
  20. Riders managed to get very, very lucky. Harris is playing some of the best he have ever played and has been hale since he came back, but I still believe, given his age and history, he is brittle and a couple of solid hits are likely to take him out. Unfortunately, we do not seem to have the homicidal front seven to make that likely.
  21. I think they essentially showcased Adams in the hope of driving up the asking price. don't think it went well.
  22. If the Bombers lose to them in our own stadium, we will never hear the end of it.
  23. And that was that.
  24. And so has his market value.
