  1. Domination on both sides of the ball! All right!
  2. Love the way Oliviera punishes would-be tacklers.
  3. Couple more of those, and we're set.
  4. Is there not a large potential problem with anointing an inexperienced quarterback as the starter without any significant body of work to justify passing over an experienced incumbent player? What kind of message does that send to the other players, or, for that matter, the fans?
  5. And rarely, if ever, whined to the refs.
  6. Yup. Some years do be like that. A friend in recovery has a saying, "I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days gang up on me."
  7. Agree on Wallace. When he came in on short notice as a CFL rookie, I was really surprised at his technique and aggressiveness- did not seem to be intimidated at all. Barring injury or something weird happening, he ought to be a stalwart fixture on the O-line for a decade.
  8. just announced that Rourke will start this week.
  9. I would also be shocked if O'Shea and Co. made some moves to shore up the middle of the d-line and maybe even the safety position. Brandon Alexander has been playing better of late but substantially below acceptable levels overall. Maybe even the same father. That aspect has not been talked to death yet.
  10. What we are seeing may be the best Collaros can do due to the cumulative effect of injuries and aging, so Buck may have to plan around Collaros' diminished ability to sling the ball with accuracy and power, as he has done. He ain't gonna get any younger, either, so we had better lower our expectations accordingly.
  11. Am not quiet but still hold to my opinion that this team is not the juggernaut of yore, but the beneficiary of some very poor competition this year. But a win is a win.
  12. Gym work will compensate for that, but many QBs in the CFL got by without a cannon for an arm.
  13. He has the physical tools and the intelligence- the rest should follow.
  14. Ford will evolve into a dangerous quarterback, but there is no substitute for live-fire game experience .
  15. Rookie head coaches do that sort of thing.
  16. Oliveira looks to be the ultimate team player.
  17. Would still trade for him 10/10.
  18. How heinous that might be would depend on whose mother it was.
  19. You may be in luck. I understand he's single.
  20. Close counts only with horseshoe games and nuclear warfare.
  21. But lets be greedy.
  22. Gonna need at least another TD before I can unclench.
  23. Okay- it's money time. If Bombers cannot come away with another TD, we're boned.
