In Regina, the tails wag the dog. And yes, there are SOB's on that team. -
Israeli Army's Investigation Finds 'High Possibility' Soldier Killed Al Jazeera Reporter JERUSALEM (AP) — The Israeli army said Monday there was a “high possibility” that a soldier killed a well-known Al Jazeera journalist in May, as it announced the results of its investigation into the killing. But it said the shooting was accidental and no one would be punished. Shireen Abu Akleh was killed in May while covering Israeli military raids in the occupied West Bank. The Palestinians blamed Israel for the killing. Israel initially said she may have been killed by militant fire, but later said a soldier may have hit her by mistake during an exchange of fire. Abu Akleh, a Palestinian-American journalist, had covered the West Bank for the satellite channel for two decades and was known across the Arab world. In a briefing to reporters, a senior military official said the military could not conclusively determine where the fire emanated from, saying there may have been Palestinian gunmen in the same area as the Israeli soldier. But he said the soldier shot the journalist “with very high likelihood” and did so by mistake. The official did not explain why witness accounts and videos showed limited militant activity in the area, as well as no gunfire in the vicinity until the barrage that struck Abu Akleh and wounded another reporter. “He misidentified her,” the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity under military briefing guidelines. “His reports in real time...absolutely point to a misidentification.” The results of the probe, announced nearly four months after the killing, largely align with those of several independent investigations completed much earlier.

There were several pivotal plays in the game and the Duke stupidity was only one of them. Richie Hall made enough adjustments at the half to stymie the Rider offence, but the biggest problem for the Bombers was the anemic offence and slow start. -
As outraged as we are over Marino's brain-dead antics, from the amount and content of the bile spewed on the Rider website, he has few defenders left in Saskatchewan. He is gonna cost Dickenson and maybe even O'Day their jobs. And they will have no one to blame but themselves.

Fajardo's knee shouldn't feel special- he whines about pretty much everything.

Just had a boo at the Rider fan website. While most there (the sane ones) are disgusted and angry at their team and coaches, the defenders of Marino, Williams, Maas and Dickenson are reaching new heights of denial and wails of being victimized the the refs, dirty Bomber players and the universe in general, Hilarious. Can't wait to read the website after next Sunday. -

Like the game or not, this confirmed the Bomber status as the elite team in the league plus it was absolutely laden with drama and a game that will be talked about for a looong time to come, -
I wouldn't be concerned. Marino will be a non-factor, one way or another. I have no doubt that O'Day will be getting a call from the league, if he hasn't already. If this doesn't happen, I would think that O'Shea will stand real close to Dickenson before the start of the Banjo Bowl and say something to him very softly about the health of Fajardo.

You can be assured that it is very unlikely that they will be taken alive. -

That's called "locking the barn door after the horse is gone". Riders are slow learners. -

We should be grateful that Collaros was not injured and somehow watching the Riders cover themselves in excrement en route to a loss at home is almost enough revenge. Almost. -

This edition of the Riders is an insult to every loyal Rider fan and all the great players to wear the jerseys over the years. I hate the 'Riders on principle but they have given me many, many more reasons to detest them. r -

It would be only justice if and when they cross over, they lose and lose badly to an Eastern team in the first game. -

Not only did we silence our most hated (and rightfully so) rival, in their own stadium, in front of the biggest crowd of the year, while missing some key players, and the Riders sabotaged their own team through stupid actions and decisions. They have relegated themselves to no better than fourth place in the west. -
