And so it is.

I think I am going to barf.

I have no problem rooting for the Argos tonight. That too-easy TD looks good on the Riders and I hope there is more such to come.

There goes MBT's MOP nomination.

Are you referencing our d-back? O wherefore art thou Speedflex?

A big reason our running game sucks is the deterioration of our O-line, and even if Harris was still here, I think his stats would be way down.

Impeachment by itself means little- the real crunch comes when Congress and the Senate agree on a punishment, and that can be a verbal rebuke or as much as removal from office and a ban from ever running for office again.

There is a joke in there and its Donald J. Trump. And I fear that the worst is yet to come. Merrick Garland is faced with a devil's choice due to the overwhelming evidence that Trump and his cronies planned and tried to execute a violent coup. If Trump is indicted and convicted, there will be what some have said is already here: a civil war. If Garland does not charge Trump and his co-conspirators, this will be interpreted by them as a vindication that they did nothing wrong and an invitation to try again. The next time, they will have the knowledge of what not to do.

As lame as the Bomber offence was in this game, we had proof that they can rise to the challenge when needed. Moreover, we won without Agudosi , Ellingson, Couture and others. And, encouragingly, Oliveira and Augustine had their best performances of the season. They didn't rack up a hundred yards rushing each but they ran without much hesitation, and the O-line, while far from great, protected Collaros well and did open a few holes.

The stalling of the Russian invasion happened before the effect of the western training and weapons came into full impact. There are credible reports of mutinies and half-hearted attacks by Russian troops and even the troops from the Wagner Group and mercenaries from Chechnya have not helped. Putin is pressuring Belarus to begin attacks.

If the Americans want to keep their guns, let them stay on their side of the border.

Steve Bannon is found guilty after his lawyers refused to present a defence. He is now liable for a $100,000 file and/or 30 days in jail. Trumpsters will raise the money, no problem but I hope he gets 30 days in a super max.

Not surprising- that was a really nasty paper cut. Air on passenger aircraft is recirculated endlessly with minimal filtering and dehumidified, so nasal tissues dry out and are repeatedly bombarded with whatever is present in the sealed metal tube. -
I have little respect for the Elks' team and coaches, so 28-9 Blue. The only thing keeping this from being a blowout is all the owies we have on defence.

The act of killing a non-threatening creature for pleasure changes the assailant for the worse. If killing for legitimate reasons- ie: self-defence or needed food as part of an integral culture has a different effect.

Mike Pence's Security Detail Feared For Their Lives During Jan. 6 Capitol Riot Members of former Vice President Mike Pence’s security detail were so afraid for their lives during the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot that they made calls over radio to say goodbye to their family members, according to testimony given to the House committee investigating the attack. “The members of the VP detail at this time were starting to fear for their own lives,” a former White House national security official said in testimony to the committee that aired in a hearing on Thursday. The official’s identity was withheld for security reasons. “There was a lot of yelling, a lot of very personal calls over the radio,” the official added. “It was disturbing. I don’t like talking about it, but there were calls to say goodbye to family members. The VP detail thought that this was going to get very ugly.” https://www.huffpost.com/entry/january-6-mike-pence-secret-service_n_62d9f860e4b03dbb9916f641

Trump-appointed Secret Service watchdog knew about deleted texts — but didn’t tell Congress: report. DHS Inspector General Joseph Cuffari, a former Republican advisor, previously quashed Secret Service probes The Department of Homeland Security's Office of Inspector General learned that the Secret Service deleted nearly all texts from Jan. 6 but did not inform Congress, according to The Washington Post. Two whistleblowers who worked with Inspector General Joseph Cuffari, who was appointed by former President Donald Trump after serving as an advisor to Republican Arizona Governor Doug Ducey and former Gov. Jan Brewer, revealed the months-long delay in reporting a purge of Secret Service texts that has come under scrutiny by the Jan. 6 committee, according to the report. One whistleblower reported the decision by Cuffari's office not to disclose the purge to the Project on Government Oversight (POGO), an independent watchdog group, which then relayed the information to congressional staff. Staffers then corroborated the account with a second whistleblower, according to the Post. Cuffari's office in October 2021 had also prepared a public alert sounding the alarm that the Secret Service and other divisions of DHS were stonewalling it on requests for records and texts around the time of the Capitol riot but never issued it, sources told the outlet. https://www.salon.com/2022/07/21/appointed-secret-watchdog-knew-about-deleted-texts--but-didnt-tell-congress-report/

Trump thought that he could avoid prosecution by declaring himself a candidate for president, but Attorney General Merrick Garland put an end to that. Garland was asked about investigating a former president, and he answered, “No person is above the law in this country, nothing stops us. I don’t know how to — I’ll say that again. No person is above the law in this country. I can’t say it any more clearly than that. There is nothing in the Constitution, in any other factors which prevent us from investigating anyone, anyone who’s criminally responsible for an attempt to undo a democratic election.”
