  1. The public representatives of both the Nazis and the Japanese during WW2 were executed for war crimes. That ought to apply to Lavrov as well.
  2. Rumours are circulating that Mark Meadows, Trump's former Chief Of Staff, who has defied a subpoena and has been alleged to have urged Trump to overturn the election will be charged with serous offences. This is said to be why he has not been brought before a judge as yet.
  3. For those considering the second booster shot, there is some confusion about the time that has to elapse between the first and second booster shots. Ontario is recommending 3 months but Manitoba is recommending 6 months.
  4. Leaked Text Reveals Marjorie Taylor Greene Wanted Trump To Declare Martial Law And “Go After” Biden In a leaked text to Mark Meadows, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene wanted Trump to declare martial law as Republicans wanted to “go after” Biden. Here is the text as obtained by CNN: "In our private chat with only Members, several are saying the only way to save our Republic is for Trump to call for Marshall law. I don’t know on those things. I just wanted you to tell him. They stole this election. We all know. They will destroy our country next. Please tell him to declassify as much as possible so we can go after Biden and anyone else!" Greene shows that she does not know what martial law is, but more importantly what does she mean by “go after Biden?” Greene’s text reveals that the House Republicans have been planning to investigate Biden for years. House Republicans, like Greene, want to “save the republic” by destroying democracy. Contrary to her court testimony, Marjorie Taylor Green’s court testimony, she was very involved in the plot to overturn the election, and in fact, she wanted House Republicans to go after Biden.
  5. A great voice and a very nice person passes into history. May she be at peace.

  8. The N95 masks are readily available at most pharmacies.
  9. Simple answer to all this: watch what the doctors and nurses are doing.
  10. Yes, Ammon Bundy was the poster child for defying the law without consequences, but I suggest the whole trend started in the US with the Reagan regime. His administration had something like 110 members convicted of various offences- mostly voter fraud and ordinary fraud with few going to jail. Reagan's CIA brought cocaine and heroin into the American inner city neighborhoods and used the profits to buy arms for the Contras and more than a few perks for themselves, notably Ollie North. North lied to congressional committees and the FBI but Reagan simply pardoned him.
  11. Somehow if you do crime in plain sight with the flimsiest of excuses, its all OK.
  12. Jared Padalecki 'Lucky To Be Alive' After 'Very Bad' Car Accident, Says Jensen Ackles “Supernatural” alum Jared Padalecki is “recovering” after a car accident his friend and co-star Jensen Ackles revealed at a fan event for the CW series on Sunday. Ackles, who played the actor’s on-screen brother for over a decade, appeared solo at Creation Entertainment’s “Supernatural” Official Conventions and immediately addressed why Padalecki wasn’t in attendance. “I miss my buddy. He sends his love. I spoke with him yesterday and he’s sad he can’t be here,” Ackles told the crowd, as shown in video footage from the convention, before explaining that Padalecki had approved of him publicly sharing details about his condition. “He was in a very bad car accident,” he continued, which drew concerned gasps from the audience. “He wasn’t driving, he was in the passenger seat, and he’s lucky to be alive.” “And not only that,” Ackles added. “But he’s at home recovering, which — the fact that he’s not in a hospital right now is blowing my mind because I saw the car.”
  13. Kellyanne Conway Knew Of 'Sexual Allegations' Against Nebraska Candidate Months Ago. The former White House adviser and Donald Trump are working for Charles Herbster's election as governor despite allegations he groped eight women. Former Trump administration White House adviser Kellyanne Conway said she heard last year about “some kind of sexual allegations” against GOP Nebraska gubernatorial candidate Charles Herbster — but she’s working to get him elected anyway. Conway alleged on Steve Bannon’s “War Room” podcast that groping allegations raised by eight women, including a Republican state senator, were somehow cooked up by current Republican Gov. Pete Ricketts, who does not support Herbster, a corporate CEO who has never held office. Watch Conway on “War Room” in the video below. Ricketts “got in my face” 10 months ago vowing to “destroy Charles Herbster,” said Conway. She offered nothing else in the way of proof that Ricketts is behind the assault accusations. https://www.huffpost.com/entry/kellyanne-conway-groping-charles-herbster-nebraska_n_62660167e4b0197ae3f7b0b6
  14. I did a fair bit of hunting in my younger years (when dinosaurs roamed the Earth) but after awhile, it occurred to me that killing for sport was not something i thought through as I was a first responder at that time, trying to save lives, so i stopped. I can accept hunting for personal food, particularly with a one-shot takedown.
  15. But but but...those are 5 seconds gone form your life that you will never get back. Besides, its not manly to wear cleats. Showing up at Emergency is much more manly.
  16. The Flash movie has more drama offscreen than on the screen. The star, Ezra Miller, is in deep doodoo due to a couple of drunken bar incidents and his antics on set. He is now considered toxic and all interest in him by studios has dropped to zero. I thought that his portrayal in the Justice League movies was pretty poor anyways.
  17. The attacks on Russian petroleum facilities has a more immediate goal: to starve their military of fuel for their vehicles and aircraft. You may recall that 8km-long army column that halted halfway to Kyiv. It apparently stalled because of fuel shortages and left itself open to being picked off by Ukrainian mobile forces and artillery. Had the column made it to Kyiv, the outcome of the battle there may have had a different outcome.
  18. Just breaking : multiple big fires at oil depots in Bryansk, Russia. Ukraine fighting back!
  19. The waifu will not go out in cold weather without her cleat attachments for her shoes. She says they work like a hot damn.
  20. We moved to just south of Calgary to see our grandkids grow up and for the better (theoretically) weather. We found that it was more expensive to live there, and the warmer weather produced a lot of icy sidewalks where the wife slipped and fell, breaking her wrist. But most of all, we missed the blue-collar attitude of Winnipeg, the friends we had and the easy familiarity of living in a well-known community. Hell I missed all the trees and seeing clouds- the view of the mountains was nice but seeing the grass turning brown by the end of July was weird. The moves cost us a lot, but the relief we felt when we spent the first night and woke up in the morning in our Manitoba home was palpable. We found out that the imagining of a better place can be more a fantasy than a reality. We are home now.
  21. Understandable.
  22. Newly Formed Liberal Party Trounces Incumbent Trump Fan in Slovenia Election -Getty A newcomer party to Slovenia’s general election walked away with a landslide victory on Sunday, beating the country’s populist prime minister by an unanticipatedly wide margin. With more than 97 percent of ballots counted, officials said the liberal Freedom Movement—formed in January—had won roughly 34 percent of the vote, while Prime Minister Janez Janša’s conservative Slovenian Democratic party trailed with around 24 percent support. The Freedom Movement’s leader, former executive Robert Golob, addressed the victory in a video message. “People really want change,” he said. “Today people are dancing, but tomorrow a new day begins. Tomorrow we’ll start working hard.” The party is expected to form the next government in coalition with smaller liberal parties. Its agenda, according to Golob, includes bolstering health care and transitioning to green energy. Jansa, a 63-year-old populist veteran and avowed Donald Trump fan, conceded the loss and congratulated the “relative winner” of the race in a speech, according to the Associated Press. “The results are as they are,” he said. “Many challenges lie ahead for the new government, whatever it may look like, but the foundations are solid.”
  23. We had some seepage but the sump and some wet-vacuuming dealt with it. East St, Paul has 2 feet of water in places and the north perimeter highway at #59 is closed. Regent has 12-15 inches of water east of Lagimodiere. Enough, already. Between the frigid temperatures, high driving snowfall and now a dreadful "spring" this has been a very crappy six months.
  24. Champion Of Trump's Wall Pleads Guilty To Fraud, Faces Years In Prison Brian Kolfage, the founder of a viral campaign to pay for Donald Trump’s wall along the U.S.-Mexico border, admitted to federal prosecutors Thursday that he pocketed hundreds of thousands of dollars donors gave to his cause. Kolfage has agreed to serve 51 to 63 months in prison, return the more than $17 million he raised for his his “We Build the Wall” campaign, pay more than $140,000 in unpaid taxes and pay $20,000 to $200,000 in fines as part of a plea agreement over false income taxes he reported in 2019. “I induced donors to opt to the new project in part through the misrepresentation that I would not profit from We Build the Wall or take a salary or compensation,” Kolfage read from a prepared statement in a virtual court appearance Thursday. “I knowingly and willingly conspired to receive money from the donations.” The conservative activist and conspiracy theorist admitted to siphoning $350,000 away from donors ― spending it on a boat, luxury vehicles, jewelry and plastic surgery ― despite promises he made not to take a cut of the funds or take any salary for his fundraising job. (Just like his hero and mentor, Trump)
