  1. We were not only outplayed, we were also outcoached, and that rankles me.
  2. Embarrassing that the Riders can be consistent and 3-0 while we cannot.
  3. OK- there's the Matt Nichols we remember.
  4. Nichols didn't look all that bad on that drive. Good on him.
  5. Game is pretty boring- like watching paint dry. Still, better than nothing, but not by much.
  6. It was pretty brutal, but that in no way excused the lack of execution by the Bombers.
  7. Getting Bailey the heck out of there solves only one of the problems.
  8. In good teams, if one part of the team is struggling, the other parts up their game to compensate until the rest of the team gets in gear. Today, the defence worked well occasionally, but it seemed to me that once it was obvious that the offence was nonexistent and not getting any better, they caved in as well,
  9. Conservative Radio Host Who Mocked Vaccines Dies of COVID-19 A conservative radio host in Nashville who derided vaccines and spread misinformation about the coronavirus has died of COVID-19. Phil Valentine was 61. Though Valentine downplayed the efficacy of vaccines and even went so far as to record a parody song mocking them, he reversed his opinion while in the hospital, advising his family members to get the jab. He had said of the vaccine, “I have a very low risk of A) Getting COVID and dying of it if I do. Why would I risk getting a heart attack or paralysis by getting the vaccine?” He also said at the time that he had been taking the anti-parasite medication ivermectin, which is meant for animals. Valentine hosted a regular talk radio show on 99.7 WWTN-FM in Nashville. His station wrote in a statement, “We are saddened to report that our host and friend Phil Valentine has passed away. Please keep the Valentine family in your thoughts and prayers.” Conservative Radio Host Phil Valentine Who Recorded Beatles Parody About Vaccines Dies From Coronavirus (thedailybeast.com)
  10. I'm back- the dog is relieved and I am not. The score flattered the Bombers and Collaros looked like he should be a backup somewhere. We are going to go through some teething problems with a new OC, but Collaros' passes were the poorest I've seen since he became a Bomber and the receivers were of little help. Wolitarsky showed last season that he could both catch and punish DB's but, IMO, he is wasted at wideout.
  11. Waiting for a high, any high he can demonstrate.
  12. Perhaps, but it sure as spit exposed Miller, Crapigna, Nelson and Bailey. Maybe even Pierce.
  13. Can't stand the stench. Hate lengthy funerals- gonna walk the dog,
  14. And the defence is starting to smell the same,
  15. Can't blame the refs for this steaming pile of offensive excrement.
  16. Oliveira looks hesitant.
  17. GODAMMIT! That was fumble!!
  18. Bombers playing as if the game is already over.
  19. Don't think the Bombers would be ahead even if the calls were good. They've been that toothless on offence. Defence hasn't been at their best, but the offence from Collaros on out have been putrid.
  20. Yup. We're scrooged. Another big easy- yards play.
  21. Giving up waay too many easy yards. We're in trouble now.
  22. And now we can't kick an easy field goal?
  23. Smashmouth football time
  24. WOW!!! Argos did not see that coming!
