Game is booooring.... but competitive, so there's that.

If you look at our current lot of receivers, yes,

True, but there has to be an element of trust between the head coach and his boss. Walters relies on O'Shea to tell him if Colllaros is going to be the best option going forward and then Walters negotiates a contract on the strength of that report, or trades him. That applies to the other players as well. If it comes down to the GM overriding his coach, there is trouble in River City.

The tail could be wagging the dog. -
Obviously, as he played for the Riders last year.

Not emotionally invested at all in who wins tonight, so I can enjoy the game for what it is.

Agreed that our O-line woes begin with Kolankowski, but I also think it impacts Neufeld the most because he has to baby-sit Lofton, at least until Lofton gets up to speed. I cannot think of any rational reason that Eli is not our starting center. That sort of thing infuriates knowledgeable fans and will cost O'Shea his tenure here. -
He will, of course, be paid out, but if he is deemed to be the problem, then a quick euthanasia is the best course.

Our gain, their Les? -
Agreed for the most part, but veterans age out and there is a good reason why the #2 wolf is programmed to challenge the alpha wolf if there is any sign of weakness in the pack leader. It is ruthless, but it keeps the pack healthy and the alpha males and females on their toes. BTW: I think the Bombers will go 0 and 5 before notching their first "W" and flirt with .500 over the season. And either O'Shea gets the road map and apple or he and Walters will exit stage right together. I think Walters and Miller will not let the team stagger along to the end of the season. Five consecutive losses ought to be enough to bring out the tumbril(s)'
