    Riders look to have a legit contender team. Amazing what a better QB and coach will do, and, like it or not, O'Day has done a good job in recruiting to fill all the holes of last season.

    The troubling thing is that every phase of the 2024 Bombers, with the exception of the field goal unit, has deteriorated. The coaches and management have little to point to as a strength to build off.

    This loss may have a bright side. It exposed O'Shea's hanging onto stale-dated players as the major problem and if Walters is as astute as I think he is, he, O'Shea and Miller are going to have a chat very soon.
