  1. Digesting as in upchucking?
  2. Are you assuming that Walters is or ought to be the person to fire Hall? The only coach that Walters should have power over is O'Shea and if Walters has to bypass O'Shea, that is bad news for the organization.
  3. Yes, but is this as good as he is going to be? Leggett is a good guy but if he cannot get it done, that is that. I was under the impression that Fenner was brought in if that was the eventuality but he doesn't seem to have won a job.
  4. You may be right about the talent, but the pieces that need to be moved around may not be all on the field.
  5. For the first time in several years, I am not looking forward to the LDC. I will watch anyways but am considering asking my waifu to take the dog over to a friend's house for three hours during the game. I may be in the market for a new TV afterwards.
  6. I tried to watch Leggett closely last game, and he looked like he has lost a step- just a tad late in his tackling and coverage.
  7. You are forgetting the fourth period collapse, the moribund offence for two games now, Nichols' overall play this year, the inexcusable brain cramps by the coaching staff, and the 500 yards of offence by opposing teams for two games now. And did I mention that the Bombers have been able to beat only the weakest teams and are .500 on the season?
  8. A split would feel like two victories at this point.
  9. You may need your meds adjusted. They apparently are not working very well.
  10. To beat a dead horse, if Miller has to tell Walters what to do about the coaching staff, then Walters is not qualified to do the job and should be fired.
  11. It seems to me that we are one beating away from the team giving up on the season and coaches. And we may get that this coming weekend. We could go on about pride but players are human and its gotta be hard to put your best effort out onto the field if you have no hope of competing, let alone winning.
  12. But but but...we were told that giving up a lot of yards was just fine. Its getting so a girl doesn't know what to think anymore.
  13. Well, law says that what you create as an employee belongs to the employer
  14. What?? Bennett didn't show enough to be kept even in Regina. He may have the right attitude and tools but Streveler has at least demonstrated that he can play at a high level even if it was only for a few plays.
  15. I am also a Streveler fan and while he looks to have all the tools and attitude necessary to shine as a CFL quarterback, he does not have the experience and that is hard-won. Even if the Bombers stumble into the playoffs with a crossover, I am not at all confident that they could beat even the Argos.
  16. I am stunned at Nichols' comments about his receivers and the complete deterioration in his play. His words are not those of a leader, but reek of petulance. I do not know how he could possibly regain his credibility and the respect of his teammates. We have gone from having one of the three best quarterbacks in the league to one of the worst. I dread the upcoming two games and the resulting freefall. What a freaking mess.
  17. Yup. They timed him in 40 with a calendar.
  18. Can't bear to watch.
  19. Walters has done a good enough job to warrant some slack. But if he is prepared to go through another season, he is part of the problem.
  20. Sure as spit looks like it.
  21. And drink the Kool-Aid.
  22. O'Shea has had enough time to show that he has the experience and smarts to build a contender and if we are lucky, we will be a .500 team at years end and limp into the playoffs. If that is good enough for a return to the status quo in 2019, I will sit it out.
  23. Nope, but a vet might.
  24. So were Custer and Hannibal .
  25. Who'd a thunk that O'Shea would be in the running for the "honour" of being the first HC to be fired this year? The signs have been there all along, but we hoped that it was just rookie glitches, but it appears that when things were getting rough, he just doubled down on stubbornness and blind loyalty.
