  1. Lordy, but Rainey is a speed demon.
  2. Lankford is a sprinter who can catch the odd ball. He does not read blocking well enough to be a primo returner.
  3. BC defender got schooled there.
  4. Bennett not helping his cause. Last pass was way underthrown.
  5. Simonise alert!!
  6. Ross much better, O-line weak at best, Peterman a starter, Wolitarsky okay,
  7. There's too much history in Winnipeg for Glenn to come back and be successful. Not sure if Adams is the answer, but a better option than Glenn.
  8. Realistically, if we are .500 when Nichols returns, that can be considered a triumph.
  9. Gotta watch that #32 kick returner for BC- I hear he has a helluva temper if someone messes with his dog.
  10. Slim pickings out there, but he may be the best available option, depending on the price.
  11. What would O'Shea be expected to say." We are now into borderline fecal incontinence when we look at our backup quarterback prospects but we have no viable options."?
  12. A medial meniscus tear is also called a "plant and pivot" injury and can occur from what seemed to be an innocuous step- I've had one myself. The prognosis is generally favourable and is often treated with laproscopic procedures. The knee is okay and then suddenly a lance of pain followed by weakness.
  13. Agreed. In the end, the result is what matters.
  14. With only two evaluation games, Streveler has to be considered the incumbent, but we will see if anyone else is brought in.
  15. Not to mention Bennett who may surprise us all.
  16. There is no doubt in my mind that, by now the Bombers know exactly what Nichols' situation is. If there are no panic-airlift QBs coming in in the next 48 hours, that should tell us that not all is dire.
  17. None of the above excites me. I'm betting that Nichols will be back for the season opener, but the Bombers need to have to have a hard look at the three QBs we have on hand before the team hits the panic button.
  18. No to Tate. He has shown the tools to be successful, but he has become afflicted with a severe case of quititis. No cure for that.
  19. Book an appointment with your optometrist SAP. And the CNIB.
  20. Yup. Foreplay is fun, but sooner or later... Look at Dwayne Casey and the Raptors.
  21. On 1290 radio today, Ross stated that, upon reviewing the game film, he felt that he wasn't that far off a good performance. Just has to tweak a couple of things- we shall see.
  22. We just cannot lose Faith at this time of the season. We might need a Faith lift.
  23. Yes, certainly, but what about their win/loss outlook?
