  1. The purveyors of these PEDs often also sell "guaranteed" masking agents or tips on how to avoid detection. Some of these are outrageously stupid and few actually work.
  2. After the Lions' improbable comeback win last night, I must confess that I am uneasy, mostly due to Hall's defence.
  3. If that's Frosty, I might be gay. As I have said before, I'm not gay, but 20 bucks is 20 bucks.
  4. "I don't know how that happened" works for surprise pregnancies as well.
  5. There will always be those who think they can outsmart the testing. We can only hope that Spooner will benefit from this lesson.
  6. If memory serves, the Bombers have not played well coming off a bye week. Here's hoping.
  7. You are most welcome, and do not be reluctant to ask questions or disagree. As a smattering of fact, we have members here who see it as their duty to disagree about almost everything and anything.
  8. Welcome aboard and watch out for that turn at Albuquerque.
  9. That's what guys do after using the urinal.
  10. Someone who is trying to raise his profile in preparation for his next job search? I suspect that Jones senses that the wolves are beginning to circle.
  11. You are totally logical, you green-blooded bastard.
  12. There are a core of fans who will support their teams and come out rain or shine, but there are a lot who do not fit into that category and want to be entertained, even in a loss by their team being competitive. I had seasons tickets during the Reinbold era but stopped going to the games due to the team's ineptness. Losing is one thing, and its going to happen to the best teams (except maybe Calgary) but when going to home games becomes something you dread, that is bad news.
  13. But his feelings were really, really hurt and probably didn't even have his blankie.
  14. Some of this the Bombers brought on themselves with a long stretch of terrible management, coaching and on-field talent that resulted in embarrassing losses at home. The butt-kickings we endured in other teams' backyards was bad enough, but lop-sided losses at home are really demoralizing for fans.
  15. The problems with Hall's defence are not new. Either we get nickle and dimed all the way down the field or die by the long bomb. Too many players have come and gone with the same results on the field for Hall to escape responsibility. I would think that the Labour Day Classic and Banjo Bowl games will tell us all we need to know and will likely cost someone his job.
  16. 3downnation is reporting that Jeremiah Johnson is doubtful against the Esks for this week. I would think that they would be very interested in acquiring Flanders, but what would they have to give up?
  17. Good. For all the hype, Fenner is not as good as Moe. And Moe is an asset to his community as well as his team.
  18. Khari did himself no favours by signing onto a sinking ship, and his career may be permanently derailed as a result. I don't know if Wally Buono has enough fire in his belly for an overhaul of this nature, Kent Austin and Danny Barrett have burned a lot of bridges, but would Maccocia want to leave a comfy, secure job for the chaos in Montreal?
  19. It happens. Some athletes never come back at all from career-threatening injuries, and some are never quite the same again. I would think this would apply to great majority.
  20. And Wally seems to have lost most of whatever mojo he used to have.
  21. Much as I detest him, I would think Tillman would be the best choice, but he is not available. I respect Higgins and I think he and Popp butted heads when Higgins fired an assistant coach for showing up to meetings drunk and drinking, and the players were still grieving Trestman so were not open to doing things Higgins' way.
  22. That, and the death vigil for Reed and Sherman.
