  1. The thing about pathological liars is that they cannot accept responsibility for any of their actions as they see themselves as innocent victims no matter how damning the evidence is to the contrary.
  2. The irony in all this is that Trump seems to have great difficulty understanding that there is such a thing as bad publicity. In psych terms, Trump appears to be a pathological liar int hat he believes his own lies, and that way lies madness. His core personality appears to be a malignant narcissist and as such. he wants all eyes on him, because he interprets that as adulation and validation. When challenged on his inconsistencies, Trump will simply ignore them and believe whatever favours his point of view. He would not be above starting a war as Thatcher and Bush 2 did to boost his popularity, no matter the cost in lives or money.
  3. President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, obtained a secret restraining order from a private arbitrator in an effort to bar Stormy Daniels from discussing her relationship with the president, according to documents acquired by NBC News. The temporary order prevents the adult-film star from discussing information in the non-disclosure agreement she signed in October 2016—and Cohen reportedly warned Daniels that she’ll face penalties if she doesn’t comply with it. The order was referenced in a lawsuit Daniels filed Tuesday, accusing Cohen of attempting to “intimidate” her with a “bogus arbitration proceeding.” On Feb. 28, the day the restraining order was issued, Cohen emailed it to Daniels’ former attorney Keith Davidson, saying that the “document itself is to remain confidential and not to be disclosed to anyone as per the terms of the judge’s order.” White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders also stated on Wednesday afternoon that the “case had already been won in arbitration”—but it is unclear what she was referring to as Trump is not listed as a party in the restraining order. Michael Avenatti told NBC News that Michael Cohen’s lawyer, Lawrence Rosen, has made further efforts on Wednesday to warn Daniels that she is “subject to damages” if she talks about the affair.
  4. Trump's personal lawyer )Michael Cohen) was apparently given a copy of the intelligence committee's report before it was released. If true, this is a criminal offence on the part of both the leaker (probably Nunes) and Trump's lawyer, but upon conviction, the lawyer would be disbarred as well as jailed and/or fined.
  5. Except that the all-wise all-seeing Chris Jones would have foreseen that as well as all things terrestrial.
  6. Judge had a lot of potential and I wouldn't be surprised if he stepped up, but replacing Elemimian would be a shock.

  8. Whatever Cummings was into, it might explain why he was never as good as he ought to have been when he was here, and the Lions ought to have a mulligan on the bonus money.
  9. If Jones can make chicken salad out of chicken poop, I will be impressed.
  10. There is a phenomenon called "cognitive dissonance" wherein the beliefs of an individual conflict with reality and one or the other must be disqualified. One common resonse from those deeply committed to their fantasy is to double down on their beliefs, no matter how unbelievable and attack any information to the contrary.
  11. And for those who have been waiting breathlessly, here it is: http://www.ancient-origins.net/history-ancient-traditions/fart-gods-farting-out-one-s-soul-historic-ritualization-farts-009699
  12. But did you pick up on the "Wind" reference? BTW: farts were once considered the voices of the gods. (Can't remember where I read that)
  13. For a non-dominant player, yes.
  14. I cite the Urban Dictionary: the vapors A polite 19th century term women used meaning either: 1) Being emotionally overcome or 2) Having gas ie: "Oh, Rhett, I am et up with the vapors!" (From "Gone with the Wind")- an apt reference, yes? QED.
  15. You know that "getting the vapours" is a euphemism for flatulence, right? Somehow, I cannot see Bluto getting that worked up unless he is into bean burritos.
  16. Soak it in cold water for a couple of minutes.
  17. What are we going to fixate on now?
  18. Does this mean that all is forgiven and they are now besties? Anyways, he is a talented player and an asset to the league, apart from the petulance.
  19. Because this is just a tease- Muamba knows what the facilities are like in both Winnipeg and Montreal. He and his agent are batting their eyelashes at the suitors (no relation to Glen) and trying to wring the best possible offer out of both. Needless drama, in my opinion.
  20. I suspect that the whole roadshow will be over this weekend, one way or another and it will probably come down to whether Reed is desperate or not.
  21. Christians have been known to have "indulgences"- ask Jimmy Bakker, Donald Trump, Rex Humbug, etc etc. Its easier to get forgiveness than permission.
  22. And he should know. Monreal's facilities have changed very little since Muamba was there last, and there will be no playoff dollars there, either. On the other hand, Montreal's night life and women are second to none.
  23. That's about par for the course, and the main reason I stopped listening to the coaches' show.
  24. Yes, and she added sections on recreational drinking for mood enhancement.
  25. I am currently in the "elation" phase of dealing with my grief over Hurl's departure. I'll let you know when it passes.
