There are rumours out of Bomberland that Nichols is very iffy for Sunday, but it's hard to tell if this real or head games with the Esks.

Based on the performances of both teams in the past four games, the Bombers will have a tougher time with the Esks than the Stamps. This could be the year the Bombers get to the Grey Cup and if/when they do, I like their chances.

This has to be a difficult choice- premier Canadian running backs and dominant Canadian MLBs are both very rare birds.

For me, this is a win-win scenario. If the Esks beat the Riders, great, especially if it is a lop-sided win. Should the Riders win, it ought to make the WSF a complete blast for fans, and the Bombers will have the opportunity to end the Rider season in Winnipeg. That would be very satisfying.

This is still not good enough to save Hall from the gallows.

For the Riders and Jones, dignity and integrity are always negotiable.

With a bit of luck, if there is a railroad spur near you, they might park a tanker of Crown Royal there- would save you the tiresome trips to the LC.

I am not expecting a classic shootout, probably a low-scoring affair determined by mistakes.

The weather outlook for the game sounds pretty grim. On the positive side, if the WSF is played in Winnipeg, the conditions here ought to be great by comparison.

Perhaps the scheme employed by Hall will lead to his unemployment.

The CFL has had several highly improbably upsets this year, so who knows?
