We are going to see if LaPolice has the ability to customize the offence to give LeFevour a chance. -

3downnation is reporting that Lefevour is the probable starter against Calgary. -

That was the Walrus. I heard the interview and he was pretty blunt about the Bomber performances in the past five games- specifically about the vulnerability of the team to the Big Gain, and their tendency to give up gobs of real estate and hope for turnovers. -

Should this regime be on the hot seat?

I suggest we resume this discussion after the Calgary game. One side of this discussion or the other ought to be vindicated. Or not. When considering either Taman or Barker for a talent bird-dog, would it not depend more on who did the actual scouting? I am not a Taman fan, but in both Winnipeg and Regina, he was probably micro-managed and pretty much told what to do and how to do it. How well he would do with a decent budget and oversight is a matter of speculation, but I am not happy with the results that Danny Mac and associated have produced. -

The evidence for either conclusion is sadly lacking, alas. -

If you have the wardrobe, why not? I suggest you go easy on the mascara, though. -
Not a big surprise. Fans who choose to watch better be heavily medicated and/or be put in restraints. Small children should be moved to a safe distance out of earshot to avoid being traumatized.

It looks increasingly likely that Nichols will not start and even Harris is iffy, so I see this game as a toss-up. Besides, we still have Hall.
-
If you cannot accept at least the last game as an embarrassing rout, I do not know how to respond to that.
-
If a couple of years on the practice roster isn't enough to allow an aspiring quarterback to step onto the field and look competitive, how many does it take? Three? Five? No one expected him to look like another Nichols but he ought to look better than he did, otherwise why is he here? Just because we can't find anyone better?

Didn't pay her? -
The downward spiral and the routs the team has suffered. The obvious problems with the porous defence and defensive playcalling. The inability of the team to find quality replacements or adapt the game plans to compensate for the opposition's game plans.
-
That Nichols was benched for the whole game when the game was still undecided means that it wasn't a simple strain or cramp. I wonder if he will be available for the next game or whether he will be held out in caution. If that is so, we better take nausea suppressants prior to the game.

As regards Harris, I would bet that the Lions, knowing that Adams and Flanders were sidelined and that only Dressler was any threat, schemed to key on both Harris and Dressler and that was the game. -
Should this regime be on the hot seat?

Agreed, for the most part. Typically, a GM gets two head coaches before he gets the can tied to him. It has to be a difficult line to walk for Walters- he has to pressure O'Shea to get better results without micro-managing, and if O'Shea is still a believer in Hall, that may be a deal-breaker. -
Somebody has to be responsible for the two consecutive pathetic outings in a row and have their feet held to the fire. O'Shea and Hall seemed fine with the defence giving up 400 yards every damned game and so long as there were timely turnovers and 30+ points by the offence, all was well. Predictably, that wasn't going to last. I have no hard proof, but I continue to believe that our defensive personnel is a lot better than they have looked (apart from the linebacking), and that has to be laid at the feet of Hall. Time to set up the scaffold.

Google "Zach Bauman" his video clips looked impressive. -
With the time he has spent on the roster, Davis should have looked better than he did. He looked tentative and intimidated.

When Flanders was playing, he took a lot of attention off Harris. We have Bauman on the practice roster, and before you you say "Bah, humbug"- Did Richardson not contribute well for the Riders last game?
