  1. You are assuming what you choose to assume. When O'Shea was hired, I had my reservations- a team in chaos plus a new GM plus an unproven head coach equaled years of struggle, and it has proven to be so. O'Shea has made rookie head coach decisions, many of which have been documented here and made a difficult job even harder. I have said that O'Shea was a great player and a good guy, but that does not exempt him from mistakes or brain cramps. Dave Ritchie was a helluva coach but also had his flaws. Similarly, everyone raved about what kind of upstanding person Jeff Reinbold was/is but here he is looking for work again. I have always been in favour of more home-grown coaches and GMs, so you may have set a record for the standing conclusion leap.
  2. Poop happens (bad joke, but true), but we do need help in a couple-three positions, and if we want to challenge the Stamps, they do need to be addressed.
  3. Who???
  4. That suspicion is beginning to creep in. So, the answer may be to find another NI safety (possibly Jones) to spell him off. When Loffler is on his game, he is a game-changer.
  5. Green showed so little so infrequently that I hope he is not the best option.
  6. Good import receivers are not that hard to come by despite the Bombers' difficulties in finding a dominant one, so lets wait and see if Hamilton or another CFL team picks him up. For me, this may be more proof about O'Shea's unwillingness to change when change is due. Before the flak starts, consider how it has taken in the past to get rid of obvious deadwood. That proposed trade with (ugh) the riders about shipping Nevis off for a receiver sounds more attractive now.
  7. (Shudder)
  8. Don't bring your fantasies into this forum.
  9. True. Only now is Muamba starting to look like the Bomber he once was.
  10. I hope there is a plan B should one of our import receivers go down. This is a puzzlement and it would be nice if the Bombers cared enough to tell us fans what was going on.
  11. Would that be a lama or a llama?
  12. Plus, he has a cool name.
  13. For the first time since the Mulumba watch started, I feel hope that he will actually come here, and when sorely needed.
  14. "How To Build a Zoo" by Kavis Reed"
  15. Very reminiscent of a certain Michael O'Shea.
  16. You would need someone at the top with intelligence and vision, and I'm not sure such a person exists in the Alouette organization.
  17. I thought that Lindley didn't look all that worse than either Tate, Durant or Willy. There has to be something wrong with Durant- mentally or physically. I have never seen him look that bad as he has in the last three games- he is making bad reads or his throwing arm is screwed up, because his passes were nothing short of terrible.
  18. Considering the poor state of quarterbacking in the league this season, if Nichols stays healthy, anything is possible.
  19. If Walters' history is any indication, there will be no significant additions to the lineup before the end of the season, so do not hold your breath.
  20. There's no more money in the Banks.
  21. Sad kitties, soft kitties, little balls of fear. Worn-down kitties, sloppy kitties, Poor, poor, poor.
  22. I think either one of our backup QB's would have won this game for the TiCats.
  23. Masoli is getting happy feet.
  24. Gawd. Wasn't anyone blocking for the TiCat punt returner?
