  1. BLW: I think it is going to be as long for Davis to ascend to the next level as Prince Charles.
  2. About as appetizing as a tequilla-anchovy-vanilla milkshake.
  3. Okpalaugo was more noticeable in the last game, but far from dominant. Considering the dearth of D-line talent on the rosters of the Esks, Lions, Argos and Ticats, you'd think he would be in demand.
  4. Can't see that. There is a good chance that Lulay is done and Jennings has shown some promise. Collaros just might be broken and is very expensive to gamble on.
  5. If your eyes were good enough...
  6. Dunigan was on 1290 today- very complimentary to the Bombers. He said it was a great game and game experience in a great stadium- one of the best ever for him and he would call it that way even if he had never been a Bomber.
  7. No doubt you will cry yourself to sleep tonight.
  8. Let's compromise with the Rider fans on this. We can agree that they have the loudest whining and they can agree we have the loudest fans.
  9. It is starting to look like Chris Jones might have competition for the "Biggest Anal Aperture" award of the 2017 season. There's a difference between passion and a tantrum.
  10. But Masoli is probably better than Bridge.
  11. The TiCats are showing signs of life- would love to see them pick off the Riders, sending fans across Saskatchewan into melancholic depression.
  12. Oh, fourletterword. I was hoping.....
  13. Well, that's a mouthful.
  14. And its about time!
  15. Not if Hamilton, Toronto and Montreal have anything to say about it.
  16. If we can't question/insult/pillory the coaches, it would pretty much shut down this forum.
  17. Agreed. This edition of the Bombers is not a big-play offense like BC, Edmonton or even the Riders. We do have Adams and Dressler who are very quick but the 10-15 yard passes are Nichols' bread and butter. And that is what Thorpe brings.
  18. Maybe as a rental player.
  19. The way Reilly got laid out last game, he ought to be seeing and hearing birdies for a while. I couldn't believe he was able or allowed to go back into the game, and that impact has to have a long-term effect on him.
  20. I would still rank Edmonton ahead of the Riders, particularly with Glenn being iffy.
  21. But the facial features closely resemble female Rider fans- on good days.
  22. If Glenn wasn't having the season of his career (before the injury), the Riders would not have won more than a couple of games to date. Franklin shows a lot of promise, but so have many other QBs who flamed out quickly. The most interesting player who is or will be available is Collaros, who is nowhere as bad as he has looked this year, and I do not know why Hamilton did not trade him to the Argos for the previously mentioned package. If Jones wants a shot at the playoffs with Glenn benched for any length of time, Collaros has to be the only viable option out there. The problem is that Hamilton will want a long dollar for him, and Jones may have to get bent over for the trade.
  23. Bombers have been winning in a manner which left them open to being described as more lucky than good. This game was a real crucible. For all his hubris, Jones is a darned good defensive coach and has built a very good defense in Regina, so this win cannot be written off as lucky. Bombers were full value for the win- unlike last week where two plays in the first quarter rattled the Bombers and the Riders got excited.
  24. I expect the Riders to try to slow the game down as much as possible and go to ball-possession plays to take the crowd out of the game. They will expect the Bombers to come out storming but the Bomber counter to that will be a similar ball-control game plan, which means Thorpe will be sorely missed. Bombers absolutely cannot give up the big easy scores or turn the ball over. One of these teams is going to be exposed today.
