Kyle Knox? Really?

Not to rain on your parade, but the whole eastern conference as well as BC and Edmonton have all fallen on hard times, and Calgary currently does not look invincible, either. The Bombers have benefited from all that, and if they at least split with the Riders and take the Riders right to the wall in the loss, it will go a long way to establishing them as a legitimate contender. PS: even if Chris Jones manages to build a decent team, he is still a jackhole.

Score actually flattering the Als.

Surely to goodness Neufeld has significant trade value. He may not be an all-star, but he has been steady when not injured. Some team in the East has to need a national o-lineman. To Toronto for Coombs?

Mark is right, and I apologize for my poorly-chosen riposte to szardoz 71. By the way wasn't Szardoz the worst Sean Connery movie ever?

Poor Collaros- being potentially moved from one team that has a pop-gun offense and porous O-line to another. On the other hand, he ain't working for minimum wage, either. Hamilton would have to eat some of that salary. -
What have White Anglo-Saxon Protestants have against the Bombers?

Totally agree. The victims are not going to get a second chance so as to undo the violent rapes. In the example of the Catholic Church, the greater evil was all the efforts the church put into intimidating and discounting the anguish of the broken lives of the victims. Or, "it was just locker room talk". All it takes for evil to flourish is that good people remain silent. Silence is complicity. -
The short-term answer might be to sit Thorpe down, but he is a talent. Just needs some seasoning.

And the rapes were violent (as if gang rapes are not). -

Not in a city like Hamilton. You could probably get away with it in Toronto, where no one would care or in Regina, where the rabid fans would accept Jeffrey Dahmer as a player, coach or commentator. -

If you had said it happened at a Tim Horton's, it would be more relatable to Canadians. Anyhow, I'm starting a rumour that the TiCats will be bringing in Joe Arpaio to coach the defense. -
Probably, but just look at how many of us were expecting Burris to choke in the last Grey Cup. Weird poop happens.

And I suggest you look at cases in which individuals who have been deemed to be promoting hatred or intolerance have been barred from entering Canada. Pretty much every country has provisions in which they can deny entry to people without giving reasons. Entering any country is a privilege, not a right. There are exceptions such as political refugees but even there, the acceptance is subject to qualification. -
Be still, my heart.

Although the best predictor of future behaviours is past behaviours and I am by no means a supported of Glenn, he has had to play on some really crappy teams. This year his play has been the best I have ever seen him play, so maybe he will go out with a bang- like Hank Burris.

" Unless he was actually convicted for an offense, he can enter Canada without issue. ". There does not have to be a criminal charge or conviction for a person to be denied entry. By the same token you can be denied entry into any country "just because". Happens all the time, -
