  1. Are you sure that's not the tap water in Regina?
  2. And who are you to question the great and mighty wizard of oddness?
  3. Now you're just being mean to them.
  4. Whatever the Bombers overpaid Medlock was recouped in the playoff game. Point, set and match.
  5. You should consider that a compliment.
  6. Toronto is very diverse. The longer you stay there, di verse it gets.
  7. And no snipers or land mines. Mind you, the possible presence of snipers might make for a faster trip.
  8. The Bombers absolutely cannot start late against the Stamps, if they do, it will be a blowout. That might not be all bad because it might disabuse them of the illusion that they can consistently play comeback and win.
  9. Love this quote: Randy Turner - Fun Fact: Construction crew that built Mosaic Stadium was 2nd largest workforce in Regina last yr. Only Riders practice roster was larger.
  10. Unless Jones goes to Lourdes, I'm betting Labour Day at the latest. But then, who replaces him- Tom Higgins? They could do worse.
  11. Yup, and in the third quarter it was much the same for the Bombers- one more easy/quick TD and all the fight would have gone out of the Riders.
  12. Because they are meant to double as urinals?
  13. We got the two points but I am not sure that either side has that much to be proud of. It could easily have been a blowout either way had the executions of the offences been sharper.
  14. The Stamps do not look quite as formidable as last year, but this will be a real test for the Big Blue. Calgary's O-line looks suspect.
  15. Actually, Glenn didn't play all that badly compared to Nichols. Glenn got really rocked a few times and still played well enough to win but for Crapigna.
  16. I am not upset by the Bomber slow start to the game, but am ticked at the fourth quarter thinking of the Bombers where the offence went into a shell and the defence started playing soft in the secondary. We got away with it against the flaccid Riders but we are gonna have to be a lot sharper next game. PS: I think the honeymoon is over for Chris Jones and Co. in Regina. I haven't seen that kind of vitriol since the Mike Kelly- Sleepy Joe days for the Bombers.
  17. This isn't the Grey Cup, but there ought to be no excuse for a lackluster performance by either side. This is a statement game, even if it is very early in the year.
  18. Agreed that we have to hit Glenn and/or Carter early and often to take them out of the game, but let's keep these legal.
  19. Montreal's O-line has been revamped and even if the players are good, they will need time to gel. I'm not sure if Montreal has the talent there, or the coaching.
  20. Ok, I was a bit premature, but...
  21. Even if Ricky Ray & Co. are not burning the house down, under Trestman's helmsmanship they look so much better than last year. And they are beating the vaunted Lions at the moment. Quite a turnaround. Are you listening, Mr. Jones?
  22. Maybe the league ought to institute a rule that if a team does not honour the ratio rule in a game, if the offending team wins, they lose the win, and if they violate the rule and still lose, they get slapped with a hefty fine or have to play the next game with one fewer import player on the field.
  23. So.... we now know that at least three of these are deep into their cups.
  24. The Bomber secondary may or may not be vulnerable to an aggressive passing attack. The Rider receivers look to be pretty good and last season was not a good one for the Bomber secondary overall, but Kevin Glenn should not strike fear into the hearts of the Bomber defence. Still, I am still suspicious of Richie Hall's coaching.
