  1. But no word on our D-lineman Canuck in the US.
  2. I'm not sure that Wally still his magic mojo any more.
  3. If memory serves, we should be getting the word from on high about Westerman this week.
  4. Agree with Mr.Dee's observations. Lankford keeps giving reasons for him to stick around and might be the reclamation project of the year in the CFL. On a sour note, we cannot keep giving up those kind of yards to the opposition, which is another reason to question Hall's tenure as DC. Fortunately, the Bombers have found (apart from Carmichael) good enough talent to compensate for Hall's schemes. Not to take anything away from the Bombers defense, but Reilly was not his old self and at least Bowman didn't show up.
  5. Could go either way.
  6. Your acumen is startling. How do you do that?
  7. He was probably too cheap to buy a ticket. The great news is that his diseased mind was too disorganized to do a lot of damage and hurt a lot of people.
  8. I should have said "best balanced" game overall. The offense was good, and the defense was better than they have been all season. The D-line has pressure on Reilly more and more as the game went on , and it is very encouraging that the dumb penalties have stopped. I would consider the game last night as a much better measure of the Bombers- Ottawa was almost like a full-contact scrimmage.
  9. How about (large) ear muffs?
  10. As we've seen time and again, talent doesn't always equal success or class. Jones is a good coach but a dishonest GM and a questionable person. He and the Riders deserve each other.
  11. The game may have been the best overall game the Bombers have played this year. The only complaint was Medlock's startling fall from perfection. Hurl was his usual self (sigh) but Snatos-Knox is fitting in well. Knox was in for a few plays but mostly as a spectator.
  12. Crap. More delays.
  13. With a mouth full of peanut butter.
  14. Toronto taking a time out to scheme out how to win the game after 59 minutes of coma.
  15. FritoRay does not look sharp tonight.
  16. Which counts for squat here.
  17. PS: I'm getting bored and restless watching the Argo-Hamster game. Bring on the big boys.
  18. Intelligence isn't what is stopping Lankford from becoming a premier receiver, nor is it his speed. He presented well in an early-season interview and sounded humble and grateful but I'm not sure has that competitive hunger and drive to be a Milt Stegall.
  19. Its like watching a pillow fight between midgets.
  20. don't we have a dedicated D-line coach? If so, its on him.
  21. With his size and bulk, he's sort of the immovable object in the center of the line. If they run right at him, he clogs things up, but I do not recall him chasing anyone down, which means he has the same speed as the average glacier.
  22. Powell seems determined to carry the RedBlacks on his back to victory. Even Lindley looks like a credible quarterback. Hmmm.........
