Chris Jones' ego will force him to find a high-profile scapegoat, probably at the end of the season, and Durant is a likely target. He's a good QB and has not whined publicly about the antics all around him, but he has to have a limit as to how much crap he is willing to have heaped on him.

If Jones can behave thus after a hard-fought game, imagine how he treats the players he thinks are making him look bad.

If Willy is going anywhere, it will happen next week. If Popp allows Carter to get away with badmouthing the team and alienating the rest of the team, he deserves to go for a long walk on a short plank. Montreal is scrooged for this year, so Popp has the luxury of taking his time, but for Toronto, the playoffs are on the verge of disappearing over the horizon. If the Argos are going to do something, they need Glenn or Willy right now.

I think a better description would that the loss was indicative of how poorly the team was playing under Willy's leadership.

The Riders may win another game or two this year, but I do not want those wins at the expense of the Bombers and the sell-out crowd today. Bombers are facing a dispirited, embarrassed team, and if they happen to win today, it just might help Jones gain some respect from the team. Do NOT want that to happen. Bombers cannot find any excuse to not win, and winning handily would be great for so many reasons. GO BLUE!

Its gonna happen. In the NFL Carolina-Denver game, the Carolina QB got hit illegally 5 times, including 2 direct helmet to helmet hits, but none of them were called.

Cato is really trying to force the ball into tight coverage. So far he is getting it done, but it can't last.

If the owners have any sense, Popp will be told to hire a good coach and stick to GM-ing or else.

Lions just steam-rollering the Alouettes. No surprise with all the crap going on in that team, and I feel sad for the veterans who still care.

Apparently Duron Carter is working his magic again, according to 3Downnation. He was apparently at odds with Higgins and Popp chose to keep Carter over Higgins, but even when Carter went to the NFL his attitude was one of the main reasons he did not stick there. Now, he seems to have alienated most of his team and has become a distraction to the point where it has nearly resulted in a fist-fight. Popp is truly screwed here- he cannot trade Carter and if he does not cut or suspend Carter, Popp will lose whatever respect the team has for their coach/GM. The Alouettes have become the free space on the CFL bingo card.

For those hoping to see the Bombers in the Grey Cup, I suggest you pray for a crossover to the East. It will be a lot easier beating any or all of the teams there than fighting our way through BC and/or Calgary and I do not think we have seen the best of the Eskies yet, either.
