  1. It was a trial separation that went on for awhile.
  2. Well, that's enuff for a hangin' right there.
  3. You're not old until you are afraid to buy green bananas and only buy underwear one at a time because one might be enough.
  4. But the week after?
  5. It is going to take a win against Calgary and/or the Beastly Lions to convince doubters. A hard-fought, close loss will suffice as well, but that is what it will take.
  6. Nope. I am with you on that one, but it could be O'Shea's mandatory loyalty thing kicking in again.
  7. IIRC, Brockballs around in th made it clear that he was NFL-bound as soon as possible, so they got what they could for him. He built up his arms by tossing shot-put balls in the off-season, but he was not the sharpest knife in the drawer. He was one of the highest-rated NFL QBs before he got hurt- his back I think, and was never the same afterwards.
  8. Well, they elected Brian "the best to all the infidels" Pallister as their leader, didn't they?
  9. Still hoping for nude limbo contest with a flaming cross-bar.
  10. I am still not sold on Bass as a MLB. He was great as an outside linebacker but even though he has been getting better, he is still roadkill on too many running plays. Messam is going to demolish him.
  11. And all the roads leading out of town there. By popular demand.
  12. Only directly above the Rider bench.
  13. Some traditions are so deep-seated that they persist.
  14. Crow isn't all that appetizing anyways.
  15. Usually, its Willie Nelson through a gerbil with really good recipe for brownies.
  16. Gotta stop the peyote buttons on weekdays.
  17. I predict that this will be one of the most heart-attack inducing, stressful Banjo Bowls of all time. The Bombers will have a very loud, very partisan sellout crowd who will be hoping for, but afraid to really expect a drubbing of the lowly Riders. We have had so many disappointments at IGF that it is hard to assume that this game will be in the bag.
  18. Ah. Sort of like the Peter Warren or Don Imus of the CFL.
  19. In an age where there is still a Flat Earth Society with thousands of members, women who flock to visit mass murderers and people who insist that the Earth was created 4000 years ago on a Thursday afternoon, this is not surprising.
  20. Ripper is not always in agreement with the majority here (and sometimes not even the minority) but he has conducted himself with reasonable restraint in the face of personal attacks. Therefore, let us conduct ourselves in a manner befitting.
  21. The 'Cats are full measure for the win. They could have thrown in the towel after a disastrous first half but came back to win. Ray deserved better, but that's the CFL for you. Helluva game. As much as I enjoyed the Bomber win, this was way more entertaining.
  22. Anyone who has been thinking that Ricky Ray was ready for the scrap heap may be having second thoughts right about now.
  23. Collaros is good, the rest of the team, not so much.
  24. Sadly, its option one.
