I seem to recall way back a defensive end named Jim Heighton was used to fill in at MLB for a couple of games and did fairly well.

Its called the Horatio Cane/David Caruso syndrome.

I am willing to accept the loss of a potential bigger points lead over the Riders in exchange for a Lions' victory. Either way, its a win-win scenario, with a fantasy outcome of BC winning but coming out all bnaged up.

With all due respect tp Hall and his defence, giving up those easy TDs is something that good defenses do not do. That is going to cost the Bombers and the offense cannot be expected to put up 40 points every game. The last-minute drives to win the game are thrilling but it shouldn't come to that every freaking game.

I think its gonna be a lot closer than most think. Dressler is no small loss, with all due respect to his replacement(s). And our linebacking is still suspect.

I dunno. Reilly is playing the best this year, IMO.

That's desperation. McDuffie is good enough that he might be the answer to turn the season around for Ottawa.

This was not a game-day prediction, but the Bombers have enough good pieces that it ought to come together sooner or later, if only for one game.

Bombers as a team should be due for a breakout game- a whole 60 minutes of effort and execution, but Ottawa is a decent team with a darned good quarterback and may be as motivated as a cornered bear.

It suddenly struck me the other day that I've never had an epiphany.
