  1. And we can all pretend that's all it is.
  2. Yup. The chat room has probably extended the life of our TV considerably and the dogs are no longer scared.
  3. Wild and Bass are apples and oranges to an extent. Bass was playing MLB and Wild OLB- quite different. Despite being 8th in the league in tackles, Bass did not seem to make the key tackles or stop the opposing running backs at the line of scrimmage very often. Whether that was because the D-linelmen were not keeping the opposing O-linemen off him, is open to debate. Bass did very well at OLB, in my opinion, but I think Wild was better there.
  4. Even though some here worship at the feet of Khalil Bass, I do not think it will be difficult to replace him with someone better.
  5. Because.....Rider fans. Enough said.
  6. I wouldn't be surprised to see Glenn back here, or maybe in Hamilton.
  7. Glenn's days as a starter are likely long gone, but as a serviceable backup, he would fill the bill. Davis might as good or better, but how the heck would we know?
  8. But don't go outside- there's a risk of frostbite in low-lying areas.
  9. Snide insult aside, Kluchk has a point. Lets show a little class and humour around here, otherwise casual lurkers will think we are ex-pat Riders.
  10. We began the Bomber revival by hiring Walters and it peaked (so far) with the emergence of Nichols as a bona fide starter. The reality is that we are one hit away from being in the same win/loss category as the hapless Riders. I hope and pray that we will have a legit backup who can step in and at lease not throw the game away. Maybe, just maybe, Glenn will find his way back here again.
  11. We're number 5! We're number 5! We're number 5! All together now!
  12. I think Stafford is better than he is believed to be and ought to be a good fit here- he already has a street named after him.
  13. As good as this news is, I hope that Walters does not rest on his laurels when considering our QB position.
  14. And just look how well that is working for the Jets 2.0
  15. You forgot to use the sarcasm font again.
  16. This should be a very interesting season in Regina. Spectacularly implosive.
  17. Nah. Toronto or Hamilton.
  18. The signing ought to carry a lot of weight with the club.
  19. Speak for yourself. I enjoy wallowing in schadenfreude.
  20. Well, the Als have at least one wiiiide receiver.
  21. God cares about NFL football??? And if Mulumba gets cut, does that mean that Mulumba has been shunned by God???
  22. Hmmm.."surprised when he was traded" after the dismal performances of the prior season and a half and after his "understudy" stepped up and galvanized the team into a win streak. That does call into question his grip on reality.
  23. BC is too cavernous for fans to feel close to the team- even Winnipeg's stadium is on the verge of being too big.
