  1. Hajrullahu is probably repairable, Brohm is just dead weight.
  2. Bob Irving is a good commentator but he is in a bind. If he really grills O'Shea, he gets terse, rote answers much as Doug Brown got from O'Shea in the post-game show. If the Bomber coaches are told to drop cliches and give pre-rehearsed answers, then Irving is scrooged, so he plays nice hoping to get a crumb once in a while.
  3. Walters has upgraded the Canadian talent since his arrival, and that would include Westerman, Neufeld and so forth- not to elite (Calgary) level but much better than the Mack and Kelly eras. I suggest that Walters has another year to turn things around but beyond Hall and a couple of other assistant coaches, we need to flush the crapper. Our talent is not great but until we have competent coaches, we won't know how good they really are.
  4. Given our current state of affairs, if Willy is anything less than 100%, is there any point to bringing him back before the O-line is a lot better and Bellefeuille's head is on a post in front of IGF?
  5. Promote Bellfeuille to Head Coach? It boggles the mind to think that anyone would think to reward incompetence.
  6. Depressingly true. Except for the horrifying prospect of seeing Brohm again next year.
  7. ^^^^ THIS You need to start right at the very top to clean house this time, or else the result will be just the same... What will cleaning house now do? It won't salvage the season; It won't bring back Willy; It won't change the fact the Blue lack Canadian talent. This is a process these guys aside from Bel-FAIL deserve another year wit ha healthy Willy and solid qb and some Canadians maturing specificlly Gossen on the o-line. This seaon was over after last weeks game now it will be a string of blow outs wit ha win or two sprinkled in to give us fans the faint hope that things will get better but there is no quick fix and that is sad but true. Don't forget these guys are cleaning up Mack's mess, which is akin to cleaning up a nasty oil spill! So how can an expansion team in their second year be in a playoff spot with a better record than the Bombers? What process are the RedBlacks utilizing that they can start from scratch 1.5 years ago and be a more talented team than the Bombers today? Better coaching plain and simple. They also cut dead weight (and some talented guys but mostly dead weight) If we finsih below Ottawa this eason, there will be no redemption for even Walters in spite of some of the good work he has done.
  8. You may want to review the offensice game stats before trying to defend that statements. Its probably not all his fault, but he was nowhere good enough to be a starter in any league except maybe the Lingerie League.
  9. No aces in this hand. Time for a shuffle and re-deal.
  10. I think it's both. We lack talent, but then you look at the play calling on offence and special teams and wonder wtf is going on. MOS also needs to start making tough decisions. Pull that QB when he's not playing well. At least pull him in the 4th quarter if he hasn't done anything all day.And Walters...seriously dude. Chevron Walker!?!?? Wtf were you thinking!?!!??!!!Chevon Walker was as useful in carying the ball as a shopping cart. If thats the best we can do, we are in next year country already. Walker and Marshall didn't get a lot of help from either the playcalling or the O-line, though. No, you're totally wrong. A shopping cart to the knees would have hurt their D and could have gotten us some serious yardage. I suppose you are right. The cart might even have scuffed their cars in the parking lot.
  11. The guy is a fkn troll because he was cut... Wonder what he would have said on twitter when we were all saying he was the weak link on the OL I don't disagree, but it does make a point a lot of us have been saying and getting ridiculed for. O'Shea doesn't hold his players accountable for what they do on the football field.I'm no longer in the O'Shea fan club, but what kind of penalty can he impose on a player when that player knows there is no one to step in if he is turfed?

  13. Two games ago, I would have agreed with you, but the team has deteriorated to the point where nothing short of radical surgery will help. O'Shea will not make changes and he cannot assess talent to save his life. Even the special teams which were supposed to be his forte have been consistently poor until two games ago, and not so hot today.
  14. The D is not 'folding' they are getting scorched in second half's because the opposition is making adjustments (when they aren't taking stupid undisciplined penalties). These are deeper rooted problems than just running out of gas. It has to be disheartening to a proud player who is giving his all on defence and who knows the game is winnable if only the fourletterwording offense could play even half-decent. I don't wonder at the frustration penalties. The offense gave them a 10 nothing lead to run with. The TD was a gift, but after that, the O went MIA and abandoned the team. .
  15. Morley's play does not detract from him having a valid opinion, but in this case, I disagree with him. We got a good player right now who might be a good homebrew linebacker for years to come.

  17. Etechvery was a worse DC than Bellefeuille is an OC, and it still took two freakin' months for O'Shea to can him. Why would we think that Bellefeuille is on the gangplank? O'Shea is not a bad guy but his command decisions are staggeringly bad.
  18. You have a wonder unfolding right in front of you, so quickly that this precious time will speed by you before you know it. Between watching this miracle and huffing and puffing about sports, there is no contest. Enjoy her all you can.
  19. Wow. Whatever you're smoking is pretty powerful stuff.
  20. I am no longer sure that the team believes it can win any more, and that extends right into the coaching ranks, and perhaps even to the GM. 's ability to find the right players to fill the obvious holes.
  21. Damn. Now I have to slay a goat, and read its entrails in order to hunt you down and silence you forever. We Illuminati do not brook intruders.
  22. I've lived through some crappy Bomber regimes and kept the faith that things would improve the next year if not the current one, even though the teams were embarrassing. Maybe I am getting old and cynical or have seen the same scenarios replayed too ofter, but this is as pessimistic as I have ever been. O'Shea's pigheaded stubborness dooms this team to running joke status until he and his subordinates are gone. O'Shea's list of failings should be no surprise to anyone who has watched the team for the past couple of years, listened to the radio coverage or read this forum. There may be hope for Walters but not if he lets this travesty continue to the end of the season. I could accept it if he cleans house (except for Hall) the day after the last game of the season, and I'm pretty sure that game will not be a playoff game.
  23. It was in a distant galaxy long, long ago....
