At first, I thought Jones was capable of giving the finger to the opposing teams, then I thought he was giving the finger to the league. Now it seems he is giving the finger to the Riders fans. Its like he's saying, "You all can go forth and multiply, I am going to do whatever the hell I want ."

I'm afraid that its almost impossible to mock the Riders and Chris Jones. They have used up all the good material I would have liked to insult them with.

Lewis has been and is a team player and class act.....if he was a couple of years younger, and the Bombers were in contention, he would be valuable.

But will he stay? Good tennants are hard to find.

A material pickup which might change the fabric of the team. If Cotton still has the bolls to play, he should be able to weave his way through the opposition.

Doesn't look like we need to hold a fund-raiser for either quarterback any time soon. Whew. That was close.

To put Mitchell's mindset into clear focus: two weekends ago, he tweeted that ISIS was created and controlled by Zionists. The Riders are going to need to divert front-end loaders from the new stadium site to clean up after this poop-storm.

Lordy. I do not recall him looking so gaunt- he looks like his moustache weighs as much as the rest of him.

Ummmm....the last time I checked, #1 was still one of the top three.

My memories of Durant is him shaking off would-be tacklers- even D-linemen, stepping up and either taking off or firing passes through keyholes. In his prime, he was definitely one of the top three QBs in the league.

Its contagious. The Riders are a steaming mess, and Edmonton is close to imploding as well. At the risk of sounding like a homer, it would seem the credible teams this year are Hamilton (maybe), Winnipeg, Calgary, and the Lions.

Bowman has been an all-star for several years and has good chemistry with Reilly, so no wonder he is seeing more pigskin thrown at him than Kermit.

This puts McKay in good company- with Chick, Denmark etc. I hope he does well with the Bombers- you can't coach size or passport and we have the luxury of having the time to assess and groom him.

The Saskatchewan team ought to change their name to "Riders, Barnum and Bailey".

The half-hour CFL show on TSN Tuesdays(?) uses a lot of audio with the gametime clips and is quite entertaining. I recommend it highly- the most recent one featured the coaches, players and QBs talking during and after the last game. Funny and insightful, even after editing.

In Mafia tradition, it would have been a horse's head, but if that happened to Jones, it would mean that both ends of the horse would be there at the same time.

True, dat. The veterans are supposed to lead by example, but Bowman and Hebert displayed the discontent within the team.

Weird poop does happen during these games, but Riders winning even one of the two would be beyond bizarre. The Bomber offence has not been overwhelming but the Rider defence has been a lot worse. I could see Durant being carried off the field by half-time in the LDC- a combination of a carnivorous Bomber D-line and a Rider O-line which has often been as strong as wet Kleenex.

Burger King is open late.

I see the Riders in a worse position than the Bombers were last year at this time. Both teams struggling, but the Bombers did not have the combination circus/dumpster fire going on all around them, as is the case with the Riders now. At least last year we had hope that things would get better, but I am not sure the is the case for Rider fans this season.

Nichols has done better than almost everyone expected, but the honeymoon will end sooner or later and the Bombers will lose a few. I see the Bombers finishing at 10 and 8 if Nichols stays healthy. If he goes down all bets are off.
