Nichols vs Glenn
Yup. There is no end of quarterbacks who have had the arm but nothing else" Michael Bishop, Matthew Teague, Joe Adams, etc.

Nichols vs Glenn
Deliberate? The receivers meant to drop the balls? Drag them out into the street and shoot them!

Bombers Trade Willy for DB TJ Heath, Acquire Kevin Glenn
We shall see. If you assume that the Bomber coaching staff were working hard to salvage their asset, then Willy did not respond, so Willy catching fire in Toronto is not a given. That said, I wish him well, and a change of venue might do the trick, but he will have to show why he deserves the fat contract for next year.

And the Argo O-line is suspect as well, so its deja vue all over again.

Bombers Trade Willy for DB TJ Heath, Acquire Kevin Glenn
I would bet that the lie Glenn is referring to has to do with Glenn asking Popp what his future was with the Als,and Popp promising Glenn that Cato was just getting a games' worth of audition for next year. If that was the case, I would be ticked as well.

Nichols vs Glenn
One big advantage to having Glenn here is that his playing style is not that much different from Nichols, so fitting into LaPolice's offence shouldn't take all that long. We have a very good O-line to give Glenn protection and time. Either way, Glenn is probably happy to be here and Willy wasn't.

Good on Walters. Willy's presence was a distraction and this is good proof that the team did not see any future for him here. Willy did his best , but it was good enough for a little while, but not long enough. I wish him luck in Toronto, and he certainly won't be bothered much by media there. The DB we picked up is a bit of a puzzlement, but perhaps there is more to come. We need a lethal MLB unless Burnett is it, and a dominant wide receiver. We get those, we goin' to the Cup.

And so I was. A pretty good outing for his length of time there and his blocking help.

The Rider RB is good- quick, fast and tough. He got only marginal help from his O-line and play calling.

Loffler has to get the nod. The USA players have had tons more and better coaching than Loffler, so his emergence as a quality player, be he homegrwn or import is a very pleasant surprise.

Lawless says there is trade market for Willy
It think that judgment has already been made. one for five this year and overall .36 in his Bomber career.

Around The League Regular Season Discussion
What took them? I kinda thought Castillo would end up in Regina, but Jones' judgment is still flawless.

Calgary @ Edmonton
Cole has been more consistent, and the goods news is that Green has stopped taking those dumb penalties.

Lawless says there is trade market for Willy
Nothing stopping the Argos from trading for Willy and renegotiating his contract with a bonus structure.

Great interview- Burnett comes across as smart and well-spoken. My only question is: why the heck do dark-skinned guys bother getting tattoos?

Chris Jones' ego will force him to find a high-profile scapegoat, probably at the end of the season, and Durant is a likely target. He's a good QB and has not whined publicly about the antics all around him, but he has to have a limit as to how much crap he is willing to have heaped on him.

If Jones can behave thus after a hard-fought game, imagine how he treats the players he thinks are making him look bad.

Lawless says there is trade market for Willy
If Willy is going anywhere, it will happen next week. If Popp allows Carter to get away with badmouthing the team and alienating the rest of the team, he deserves to go for a long walk on a short plank. Montreal is scrooged for this year, so Popp has the luxury of taking his time, but for Toronto, the playoffs are on the verge of disappearing over the horizon. If the Argos are going to do something, they need Glenn or Willy right now.
