Depending on where you live, Koodo may be an option. I am not hyping Koodo because I am getting anything out if it, but we have been with Rogers, MTS, and now Koodo, with Koodo being the best experience and fit. The Koodo website has coverage maps if you want to check them out. Might work for you.

Compared to 2013 or even 2014, this is day vs night. This the most optimistic I have been over the Bombers' chances since Berry left.

I would love to see Sam stick in the CFL for a long time. The homophobes on both sides of the border will be outraged, but screw 'em. If Sam becomes a valuable member of his community and taxpayer, that's all we need from him.

I was quite prepared to see Weltung as just another training camp jersey-filler, but Gottdammerung! the guy can fly and has more size than the average punt/kick returner in this league. Could be a real dark horse. I'm really looking forward to this year's training camp.

As an example of how irrelevant and self-important MLB has become, consider the stupidity in Baltimore of "playing a game" in front of a completely empty stadium during the upheavals there.

The mere thought that we could have had Mack as GM and Kelly as Head Coach at the same time absolutely freaks me out. That would have killed the Bombers in one year.

At camp in 2013 I woulda ranked him 2nd behind only Buck... Buck, Yantz, Hall, Goltz, Chase something (I forget the guy's name) ... then again, there wasn't much to be excited about that year... This player transaction could define Walters the way the Kito Poblah transaction defined Sleepy Joe Mack's regime. Mack brought in some good players but Poblah was a complete and utter bust. If Waggoner turns out to be as good as we hope, Walters will be venerated for decades. If Waggoner does not pan out, people will quickly forget all the good moves.

But my point is, still, that it is not necessarily the Bombers who should be defended here, it is the situation as it stands. There is no proof, other than an idle tweet, that got people started here. And we all know how reliable tweets are.People getting excited over an error. In any event, the tweet wasn't correct, the event is going ahead, and the angst-and the subsequent furor, that resulted from same, were for nothing. And the fact that I would lay Jennifer Lopez to defend my Bombers, has nothing to do with it. Fixed that for you. More realistic now.

Sounds like he has the adaptability, athleticism and smarts to be an MLB if he puts on 10 or 15 lbs. With any luck at all, he could be a fixture here for the next ten years.

Agreed, but more than that, a stable and competitive Argo team which draws 25,000 fans would serve to revitalize the league. Competition is good- no one wants to see a 9-team teague where two or three teams steamroll everyone else. Even if you are a fan of one of the two or three, it gets boring without challenges.

Hmmmm....verrry interresting. Could we be looking at two starting Canuck outside linebackers? Could we have some very valuable NI defensive players to trade? The plot thickens......

I've been with Rogers for many years, but only because the only other option at the time was Telus, and I tried them and their network and service sucked even harder than Rogers, if that's possible. I should look at switching again. Anyone who poops on the CFL poops on me. And I don't like being pooped on. Once the truth is known and it is indeed shown that Rogers is trying to kill the CFL, I am done. No way am I supporting a business that has that kind of attitude. NO WAY. Plus Koodo has really funny commercials. Isn't Koodo just owned by Telus? Telus are a bunch of assholes too, but but not as big as Rogers I suppose. Rogers are basically the devil. Yes, Koodo is owned by Telus, but it is a separate company and has been well ahead of Telus in customer service for years. Four years ago, they sold us a phone which did not work in rural areas. When we contacted them, a manager called me back the next morning, ordered that a proper phone be sent to us, told us to keep the old one at no charge and gave us a month's free service for our trouble. Fedex delivered the new phone two days later. Can't get any better than that.

I would be very happy with Waggoner. With Chapman, not so much.

Okay, so Rogers is a bigger villain than any of us had imagined. Sad to think that there are those who are so, well, evil as to try to kill off a whole league with such a storied history for convenience or spite. Thanks, Bluto and I can only imagine your distress, anger and sadness.

The fact that there is no crying in baseball ruined it for me. Do you suppose that if they make all home run hitter do a silly walk around the bases (a la Monty Python) it would make the game more watchable?

I am a fan of baseball but in the past few years I find I can only stomach a few innings and then I can't take it anymore. Just not enough action. That's the beauty of baseball. You have time to think about the game. And think, and think and think and think....then you fall alseep.

And rightfully so. Rogers has built his empire by being aggressive but also by ignoring customers once they were lured on board. They have been rated the worst telecom company for customer service for several years in a row. This has been like an infected tooth for the CFL that has finally been pulled, but like dentistry, not without pain.

My first reaction was "WTF is Walters thinking?" but on second consideration, Greaves has been serviceable but not irreplaceable, so if we have a replacement who is as good or better as well as a good backup, lets trade for what we need. It seems to be coming down to what Goossen and Neufeld can bring to the table.
