  1. Distance is hard to tell but Scanella looks to have darned good hang time on his punts. Wrong passport, though.
  2. Must be nice to play with other peoples' money.
  3. If he ever gets used, that's my guess. Just get 10 yards or so downfield between the hashes and win the battle with his size. And he'll still need to either wait for an injury or two and/or show he has value on special teams before an opportunity like that will be given to him. Pure project player. And his mom will be happy to just get him out of the house.
  4. Good article- thanks. But then, I'm starved for Bomber news.
  5. Any word on how young Mr. Reaves acquitted himself once he got up to speed?
  6. Ah. The other brother Derrell.
  7. Well, Jon Wolf looks like he's got the wheels, but Robinson looks pretty mediocre.
  8. I would rather have a guy that can do both, you know...like most of the other GMs. Yeah, I'm not sure having 25% of your starting lineup really strong and 75% kinda meh is a formula for success. Every GM we've had has demonstrated some positives and some negatives. What with them being human and all... Pff lame humans. When the robot revolution comes, all will be better. I, for one, will welcome our new overlords.
  9. We say this every ******* year... Not really, during the Joe Mack reign of error, training camps were dull with few potential stars emerging or even pitched battles between talented players.
  10. Looks like the best group of players challenging for jobs that we have seen in many a moon. Training camp will be very interesting.
  11. How dare they. Hang Kent Austin immediately and post it on Facebook.
  12. Good on them for starting their life together with fun and enthusiam. It sure looks like Willy no longer qualifies for Worker`s Comp and is fully recovered from his owies. I wonder if Bob Fosse or Twyla Tharp choreographed the dancing.
  13. And another talented athlete falls to the slag-heap of history. There's no rehab for stupidity- ask Shannon Sharper.
  14. Gaydosh could anchor our d-line for years, much as Dougie did. I'm not sure I would bend over backwards too much for him, particularly if we can draft Waud, but it is looking less and less likely that our two wayward draft choices who are floating around in the the US of A will be coming here anytime soon.
  15. This has to be Goossen's year to step forward and claim a starter's role, or he will start to be seen as another draft choice who didn't pan out. If he and Neufeld are able to be good starters along with Greaves and Picard, a lot of our problems will go away.
  16. A longshot no matter how you look at him. Athleticism, size and pedigree are all nice, but the training and experience are real hard to discount.
  17. Great overall improvement- if we get any kind of decent QBing, we ought to be at least 10 and 8. And that's even before we reap the fruits of the 2015 draft. Calgary still looks to be the class of the league, but after that, its all a crapshoot, and somehow I think Durant is not going to be anywhere as effective as he has been before his injury. Ricky Ray will make his team an instant contender, and probably every one in the East will chasing Toronto. Wally Buono is still a wily old fox, so lets not forget his ability to pull rabbits out of hats.
  18. I do wonder if the DB has the proper beard, though.
  19. Collins is big enough and hefty enough with a low center of gravity to stuff running plays. i look forward to seeing him at TC.
  20. We`ve had too many of those- so, training camp fodder.
  21. Probably charged with `walking while black`.
  22. We are going to find out if he`s a stallion or gelding.
  23. Good info. Thanks.
  24. No but that's not an issue since they had a girl. Well, she's going to have all kinds of problems making the team as a quarterback.
  25. Sounds like an intriguing prospect who, if he is as good as he seems, will be gone to the NFL in a year or two. Still, it would be a helluva story, good PR for the CFL, and maybe a well-deserved break for a young man who is chasing his dreams in spite of setbacks.
