Hamilton is starting to turn it around with Collaros, they'll be tough to beat. And if any Bombers think they just need to throw their jocks onto the field in order to get Hamilton to concede, they will be badly mistaken. Its starting to look like Austin might have turned the season around. Even with Willy at the helm, this game would not have been a gimme, and with Brohm, the Bombers are going to have to work for a win. Because of all the injuries and the gaps in talent, the Bombers have lost strength whereas Hamilton has gotten better.

child warrior? He hates kids? Sort of like the old Indian fighter who had to retire because he couldn't find any more old Indians to fight. -
This may force the locals to combine-pool in order to get to games.

Bob Irving Interview with Henoc Muamba

This is fantastic... mbrg, you rarely disappoint These could also be considered self-contradictory oxymorons- like military intelligence and feminine logic. or All-star Linebacker Henoc Muamba Oooh, heresy. You will be pilloried and thereafter be referred to as "he who shall not be named". -
Aaah...Regina, where you can watch Rat Patrol in your hotel room without turning on the TV.

And in response the Bombers sign.......ummmm........

On the Rona radio show this AM, there was a fair bit of speculation originating out of Regina that the Riders were indeed considering a trade of a NI Canadian d-lineman plus a QB prospect for Burris. Burris is pretty much at the end of his career and apparently wants to go out a Grey Cup champ one last time and may even be willing to take a pay cut/deferment to go a contender. Burris would automatically make the Riders a challenger again, and the added revenue from one or possibly two more home playoff games would probably offset his salary cast. Could all be hot air but who knows?

Its been that kind of year. Personally, I blame it all on the presence of Rider fans in this forum. -
Franc was minding his own business and thanks to you, another piss match was started. Good job. People like you are exactly why I want to smash my head against a concrete floor at Home Depot. What do you have against my favourite toy store?

The Bombers simply haven't done a great job in promoting their brand throughout Manitoba. Maybe it is something to do with the name because both BC and Saskatchewan draw fans and support from large geographic areas. The Bombers could learn from the Riders in this respect- the Riders have a well thought-out and effective network of Rider Reps outside of Regina to promote the team and even help arrange car-pooling to games.

Because we've grown weary of bad-mouthing Romby?

A belated welcome to the forum. Unfortunately, at the moment, there is a spate of urination competitions going on. This too, will pass. Hang in there.

This is getting ugly. Enough.

Nuff said.

The Rider fan judgement is hampered by a very small gene pool.

Maybe O'Shea decided that the game was a lost cause and chose to keep Willy out just in case another hit would have really racked Willy up. It was pretty obvious who was going to win, so why the heck not exercise caution?

Odds and Sods - Blue Bombers at B.C Lions

An all-star MLB will be tough to find, but it shouldn't be that hard to find one better than Kuale. -

That would be very nice, but at this point I am not hopeful. -
Sunseri worse than expected, Collaros much better. And here we were all wondering why Austin and Co. were so high on Collaros. Even Hammy's O-line looks respectable.

I don't think it was any distraction at all- if anything, the Bomber offense was comatose. With all due respect, I'm pretty sure Teague Sherman would know...or are you a member of the Bombers defense? The available evidence indicates that the defence played pretty much as they have for the past six weeks or so- trying hard and coming up short. So, no change.

No question the break is a Godsend, but the reality is, to belabour a point, that the team was spiraling downward before all the owies hit. Since many of the usual suspects will be back in two weeks, there is no reason to expect a miraculous turnaround. -
Who said the run is not a problem?
Tracker replied to Maudie fingerjammer's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
So, as long as they stayed in their gaps, and made their tackles, the run defence would work….sounds about right. So, what does that tell you? I'm an O'shea fan, but this quote is like saying that if you step in front of a bus, you'll be alright if you hold your ground and don't get mushed. -

Apparently Brohm has shown flashes of brilliance in the past, but yes, the price for him was pretty high. Can we foist him off on someone/anyone else?
