Now you've gone and ruined it for us.

Rookie Camp Discussion & Reports - Day 1
Maybe because Richards has yet to show up? Richards is a non-counter. Remedial math class will take care of that.

Addison Richards signs with the Bombers?
Depends where he lines up eventually. If he has the size to play wideout then he'll most likely ever only play on one side of the field, reducing the number of routes on the tree by 50%. And it's not like every team uses a zillion different routes, I can't see him learning (or knowing) being that big of an issue. Just gives you an idea. Where were you when Mike Kelly was coaching.... I couldn't help but notice the jet sweep is not listed here... That happened against Anaheim, only it was reversed.

Bombers working on trade for Evan Gill?
Even for a second rounder (and Evan Gill) I think it's a good deal. But Kyle maybe looking for another (NI) player instead of a draft pick. I just proposed that because Walters lost the 2016 first rounder in getting Waggoner. But I agree; replace the first for a second rounder and it's still probably a trade I'd make. Greaves is a proven starting NI. Gill + 2nd rounder is not enough value. First rounder was closer. One proven for two unprovens with projected high potential. This seems to have been simmering on the back burner for awhile, so if the rumour persists, it probably has some basis in fact. We would also seem to have an excess of NI DB/linebacker candidates, so they might figure into the deal.

Doubt it. BC was short of good Canadian receivers last season and Poblah did not see much of the field. Wally is not omniscient but he's generally a pretty good judge of talent and he couldn't even trade Poblah for futures.

You have a rich fantasy life, don't you?

Addison Richards signs with the Bombers?
Re: Richards' footspeed or lack thereof- whilist living in Saskabush, I had occasion to see Ray Elgaard a few times. He sure as spit didn't scare anyone with his speed, but he was good enough with his hands to more than offset that. Richards comes across as a good student of the game, durable and with good work habits. Not worried about him at all.

Bombers were close to signing Marcus Ball
I love the quantum shift in organizational attitude. The "damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead" mindset has to translate down to the field where players know that the effort they put out and pain they endure will not be for naught, and they had better put out or be replaced. The difference between winning and losing is often confidence, and if the players know that all the stops have been pulled out with going to the Grey Cup as as assumption, everybody wins, fans, management and players alike.

Yaaaay! Another piece of the puzzle in place.

I suggest that, if you are going to do that sort of thing, you may want to take some "before" pictures of your face to help the plastic surgeons in the reconstruction.

Als Sign Michael Sam to two year deal
I think it's also important to note that some religions have moderated their views in conjunction with changing social mores, and others haven't. The ones that haven't should be the focus of ongoing vitriol in my opinion, especially in places where people are being executed. Yes, the Irish have made amazing strides! Thank God it wasn't left to the politicians. They would have been dithering until the next millenium.

So what's Iran's excuse? In Iran's case, religious extremism. Ever notice how the extremists in pretty much every reiigion all adopt the same belief system- homophobia, subjugation of women, intolerance of other beliefs, rigid behavioural rules, violent militancy and so forth? It also applies to the nuts in other non-relgious groups as well. The ones that haven't should be the focus of ongoing vitriol in my opinion, especially in places where people are being executed. I think its more how some of the damaged or power-hungry individuals within various groups choose to interpret the culture of their group, although there are groups who are completely malignant (like the white supremacy lunatics funded by the Coors family).

2015 Expectations
Not less than 9 & 9, but 10 & 8 and even 12 & 6 should not be considered out of reach.

Much of the virulent homophobia comes from people (male and female) who have homosexual histories or sexual deviancies themselves- like Jim Bakker and, recently TV "star" homophobe Josh Duggar was outed as a pedophile.

As someone said, "Silence is complicity". When our own actions are above reproach, then we can criticize others.

There seems to be a certain percentage of almost every group who fit into the "lunatic fringe" category, and by no means are they all "Christians" or even religious adherents of any sort. You will find more of them in certain groups, like fundamentalist literalist believers of Christianity, Judaism, Islam and so forth, but you will also find them in macho right-wing cultures like the military, and police, and the neanderthal attitudes even extend to gynophobia, racism and beyond.

Tolerance as long as we all agree and don't debate right? It is not the debate that is the issue, it is the vitriol and sanctimoniousness that too often creeps into the debate. Once people start speaking for God, we're into the cesspool.

Apart from one catch that sticks in my memory, what did Poblah ever do to warrant a return invite?
