Brossoit with back-to-back goose eggs! Maybe he should start the next one on Columbus too. -

I will be at the Bomber fireside chat with Streveler and Bryant tonight, so taping the game and will view on tape delay, so no live scoring commentary from me tonight. -
Ok, I’ll show myself out for that title. Game time: 7:00 pm, TSN3 The story: The up-and-down Jets try to climb back atop the Central standings against the muscular waterfowl of Disneyland as they were known in a past iteration. Scheifele possibly back after his turn upchucking the flu bug as it washes over the whole team, but Vilardi on the shelf for a while now with a bum spleen. Brossy gets the start apparently. Anyone who has better luck than I trying to post the projected starting line-up, please do so. A win tonight and a 3 way tie for Central #1 spot, with the Jets holding the tie-breaker.

JMO, but with Vilardi out for a while, I would keep Perfetti in but move him to the second line to spark him hopefully. Run Ehlers-Scheifele-Connor as 1, Perfetti-Monahan-Toffoli 2, the usual 3rd line of Nino-Lowry-Appleton, and put Iafallo on with Barron and Namestnikov with Kupari or Gus as the back-up there. We will need more scoring, and Perfetti is better in that role than 4th line grinder/energy guy. Iafallo is more versatile (as is Namestnikov) and could provide a positive edge on the bottom 4. Just my random thoughts, and I am loathe to question a coach of Bones’ tenure and success. Nice to have these depth options though.

Just replace “Watson-Tatum 2” with “The Crow”, and I have one theory:

How does this happen after the trade deadline?

Three categories of hobbies for me. Activity-wise, enjoy golf and world travel. In terms of mental activities, enjoy crosswords and other word puzzles (Sudoku or Wordle/Quordle/Canukle/Puckle/Puckduko stuff, although it can get to be a bit much) to keep my brain sharp. Also enjoy jigsaw puzzles, especially the 3D ones (I have a city full of various buildings on display, and a 4 puzzle New York City skyline). As for community hobbies, I like organizing and sports-related stuff, so I help with community BINGO and work with the Bison sports programs in tournament scheduling and stats keeping. Have also organized various curling leagues and school volleyball tournaments.

Game 65 : gNASHing the Predators

At this moment, projected game roster is the same as it was last time out. -
Game 65 : gNASHing the Predators

Preds 10-0-2 in their last 12, but to be fair only 3 of those games came against playoff teams. In fact, the winning percentage of their opponents during that time (removing the phony loser point inflating the records) is .442. -

Goalposts 4 Jets 3 Caps 0. 4th line the only one without a goal tonight but playing very well. Namestnikov may be the hardest worker out there tonight. -

Scheifele with some nice odd man rush passes, and KFC converts one, Jets now in control 3-0. -

Iafallo gets the goal, but that may be reviewed before game’s end. Jets skating circles around the Caps right now. -

Congratulations Speed on this blessed event! -
Special game time: 6:30 pm Sportsnet The story - Debuts of Toffoli and Miller presumably , as the club tries to bounce back from “the worst performance ever in the Bowness era” (according to the coach himself). Caps on a 4 game winning streak against the Jets.

Since his win against the Canucks Feb. 17, Connor Hellebuyck is 3-4-0 with a GAA of 3.60 and save% of .892. Brossoit over that same time is 4-0-0 with 1 shutout, a GAA of 1.75 and a save % of .938. -

After Appleton’s open net shot hit Demko’s pad and the Canucks immediately broke in two on one to score, I thought “it’s going to be one of THOSE games. Canucks very motivated to make amends for their performance last time out. Hitting everything and outskating and out working the Jets. -

MBB Jets’ posters on target today! Well done all, let’s keep the energy up. Have to say again surprised how vocal the contingent of Jets fans were in Seattle last night, and more so in Buffalo last week. When we scored the cheering was quite noticeable. Expecting a healthy dose of Winnipeggers in the crowd in BC tonight. Our fans certainly travel well. -
Game time: 9:00 pm Sportsnet and CBC - HNIC, last game before the clocks go forward for Daylight Savings. The story: Top 2 teams in the West percentage-wise in another all-Canadian Saturday night National broadcast match-up. Last time was the most “playoff-style” game seen this year, with the Jets winning and the Canucks whining. What do they have for an encore?

Ehlers salts it away with the empty netter, and the best Jets goalie in the last month gets his first shutout of the year. Best defensive effort and overall game since the shutout win over Florida in my mind.
