  1. I get it, my comment was equally tongue in cheek. I find it a bit funny how upset some Bomber fans seem to get from him. Also how much some say we are renting space in the Rider fan base’s heads, yet many here scramble over to RF and obsess about what is being said about us there. Fandom is fandom, so I get that hypocrisy reigns on every board, seeing in others behaviour we ourselves display without any sense of irony or self-awareness. I hope it is not taken as seriously as it sometimes comes across online, at least to me.
  2. I don’t see this as a trap game. If we lose another game this year it won’t be because we were “trapped” expecting to win. We will be favoured in every game at this point, but we still could lose. We just played Edmonton so we know what they will bring. We aren’t heading into or coming off a bye where complacency or rust would be a factor. I don’t see the Bombers taking anyone for granted, but they are not invincible and maybe execution could be lacking. But bottom line, I don’t see this team right now walking in expecting to be gifted a win and carrying a complacent attitude because of it.
  3. I’m not denying that he said it. My response was that Boucher could hear the gnashing of teeth. Suitor and the whole panel spent a large part of the game gushing about how strong the Bombers were. I guess fans will hear what they want and interpret things as they want to see them and find confirmation bias.
  4. You have better ears than me.
  5. That last game certainly moved him to the front of the pack with his offensive explosion, Lucky’s injury and Reilly’s ineffectiveness.
  6. Another screwy schedule. Montreal and Hamilton getting a big advantage in the division each playing a team on a short week. And with 5 games, BC still gets a bye.
  7. Thanks for checking that so quickly. Appreciate all the effort with this.
  8. Rich, can you check my totals? I am pretty sure I picked all road teams last week so I should have had 2 and not 1 point.
  9. I’d like to see how we fare against Calgary now that our offence has gotten on track. Until Labour Day we were really leaning on our defence, now we have a much more balanced team.
  10. Unlike the Leos he did not take a knee and call it a night. Popped up and went back to work.
  11. Sure, that too. Just trying to fit in here.
  12. So hard to pick just 3 Offence - Collaros, Lawler, Demski Defence - Pretty much all of them Special teams - Mourtada, Miller HH - Even 2 of those.Richardson on the second play of the game just bowls over one block, shoves aside a second, and wrestles Reilly to the ground. Set the tone for the night. Then Kyrie Wilson blows up his block to get to the BC screen pass on the blitz to snuff out any gain.
  13. OK, I’ll concede that this may possibly have been a bit assholish towards Lyin Guy. But I’m going to allow it.
  14. Legit question. What was said that was so offensive or showboaty? I think many here are in awe of how dominant the team is looking right now, and are celebrating it. And the unbiased media at TSN all seem to be equally impressed, asking who can stop us right now?
  15. Quiet. Relentless. Methodical. This team is The Terminator.
  16. Hope we are healthy after this one.
  17. Wow, BC in victory formation just to get out of here. Bombers are THAT good.
  18. 234. 4 catches, 4 TDs.
  19. This is what the 1984 team was like. Not would they win, but by how much. Quiet, methodical, relentless.
  20. But I was assured by many that Nelson was the problem. You mean Mike O’Shea was telling the truth?
  21. Is this the best game the Winnipeg secondary has played this year?
