  1. FSU national championship coach. As a coach with West Virginia, helped save their rival Marshall’s football program after a place crash wiped out the team by sharing his team’s playbook with the new coaching staff. Took a number of fishing trips to Northern Manitoba https://www.cnn.com/2021/08/08/sport/bobby-bowden-death/index.html
  2. I’ll add that to the list. - Free streaming via network hacking - Undercover COVID lab tech - Long time Ebola scientist - Linked in with US broadcasters - On top of computer graphics - Family to HNIC staffers - Superior knowledge of US economy - Host of Bomber team parties - Immune or anti-masker - Trusted with neighbour’s injury status
  3. Let’s hope there is more controlled rollouts and less of the crazy scrambling. Nice weapon to have, but not make it a regular feature of the game. And yes, Nichols looks done. Pre-injury 2019 Nichols could have won the game against the Ticats IMO, but the current version would not have fared well at all.
  4. And throwing those short passes to the middle of the field not allowing for a chance to get out of bounds to stop the clock (except once and that was Wilder’s hustle more than the location of the pass).
  5. The funniest thing to me is that “Will they go 14-0” Hamilton is in last place in the CFL standings right now.
  6. Another classic Trevor Harris game. 33 completions, well over 300 yards passing, 75%completion rate, and in the end a loss on the ledger.
  7. As do you apparently. For those scoring at home, in 12 hours we have learned from his own posts on various topics that Polar Bear: 1. Knows how to hack into live feeds of American networks to get free streaming of sports programming 2. Is a 20 year vet of Ebola and SARS research in a virology lab 3. Is connected to many major US broadcasters and therefore has insider rankings of most of not all sports play by play guys and their reputations within the industry 4. Has relatives at HNIC and therefore has access to management hiring memos 5. Spent time in New York in a top secret COVID lab under government control operating under a cone of silence unable to share his findings with the public 6. Is ostensibly a computer graphics specialist who knows how to debug in game productions 7. Has a trusted working relationship with a number of the Blue Bomber players and has the inside track on the injury situation with the club and because of his concern about the amount of arguing on a fan site, I can only assume - 8. Is an ebony pot having a conversation with a kettle
  8. Wilder still cheating on the jersey. Refs should flag him or send him off. May seem small but harder to grab skin than a jersey. Rob Ray knows that.
  9. Was going to say “isn’t that a uniform violation”? Looks like the refs gave him a warning and he has corrected it.
  10. If you are confident in your D it shouldn’t matter if the other teams starts on their 15 or their 35 with 3 more points on the board.
  11. The 51 yarder was iffy but if your kicker is less than 50% from that distance then maybe you need another kicker. We are going to need those made at some point this year. We also opted to punt instead of try a 45 yarder and a 48 yarder. Either you don’t trust your kicker or you don’t trust your cover team, either scenario is not good.
  12. Re-submitted with the full video. Tried the video editor for the last 3 seconds only. Epic fail. For my next trick, watch me set the clock on the VCR.
  13. Jump to the 19 second mark.
  14. Some of us were born at night, but it wasn’t last night. Try again. 🤣
  15. You bet Sask to cover the 6 point spread and the under, didn’t you? No roster tricks, Reilly was dressed and on the field, which meant he could go in at any time.
  16. Given the forced global player mandate, the Theadric Hansen find by Walters and co. looks more and more brilliant every single day.
  17. Bierness in studio allows Rod Smith to do play by play exclusively. Suspect he will be the number 2 guy as Black moves to number 1.
  18. Hey, Crapigna was perfect last night……from inside 15 yards.
  19. BC should be looking for a new kicker pronto.
  20. Lucky Whitehead would have added something to that Bomber receiving corps last night. Just sayin’
  21. And Rourke back in at QB for BC.
  22. There are 50/50 balls, and then there is what Reilly is throwing tonight. I’ve seen field goal tries with a better spiral than what Reilly is tossing up this game. And yet they are clawing back. They may want to use their global position on someone other than their kicker, he has left points on the field.
  23. Most ever medals by Canada at a summer games in a non-boycott year.
  24. There is something about Barker that has irritated me in the past, but I thought he gave a pretty good breakdown of the Sask game plan for the half and how it compensated for their o-line woes. He has good insight and can communicate it to an audience well to my mind.
  25. I recall some “running like a chicken with his head cut off” scrambles that ended with a log throw that went incomplete. But I may have conveniently forgotten some of the completions. He did seem to hold on to the ball longer than Nichols would have, and extending the play could become very valuable at times. I just hope he doesn’t need to use that escape valve as much as he did yesterday. Quick reads, rather than improvising, would give me more comfort with this offence. Anyway, glad to see some mobility back there, but I don’t think he made the difference where Nichols would not have yesterday.
