Actually it’s just an opinion. But curious what makes her so unenjoyable for some?

A really solid obituary. Worth the read.

We certainly have the goaltender who can get on a white hot run.

Excellent points Rich.

Open multiple part question for the group: Jets have 2 more games this month and 15 in January. Given that right now most of their injured players are pegged at “2 weeks +” for return date, should they be contemplating a trade now to get through the rough patch? And since Chicago is all in on a tank job and looking to move one or both of Toews and Kane, would it be worth going after them and what would it cost?

Liking the transition game in the neutral zone. Intercept and right back into the o-zone with speed. Now just bury one of those chances.

Lowry cannot afford to miss that breakaway. As short handed offensively as they are, Jets need to get greasy goals and win 1-0 or 2-1. Going to be a long 2-3 weeks until bodies come back. Wouldn’t be surprised to see the power play have just one unit play the full 2 minutes.

The disagree emoji just doesn’t capture how wrong I think this opinion is.

Please bring back Stacy Nattress if the alternative is garbage like tonight’s “anthems”. She kept it simple, didn’t try to overdo it, just straightforward singing.

Jets just need to try to tread water until the injury list shortens.

Game 33: at Bahhhhhston

Read my voluminous comments in the “Your Hate Goes Here” thread to get a feel for my disgust of all things Boston. -

More than a few missed high sticks. Boston plays a real chippy, interference-style game. Lots of clutch and grab that they are allowed to get away with. -

Samberg with two brutal Defensive lapses tonight leading to breakaways and Hellebuyck has bailed him out both times. Can’t make those kind of mistakes at the NHL level, especially in Boston. Cheap penalty on Srenlund. Gets tripped and his stick flies up as he tumbled to the ice and clips the Bruin. -
Important win given what is upcoming. Into Boston (2-6-3 there since the club returned to Winnipeg in 2011) and Washington (0-4-4 in their last 8 games, have not won there since January 2013) for back-to-backs before the Christmas break, could have been staring at a 4 game losing streak. Club gutting it out with 7 starters out of the lineup and what will be a run of 13 games in 22 days.

Nice to see Riddich step up in a tricky spot and get rewarded for a strong performance.

Jets should send tape of tonight’s game to every Norris trophy voter. Morrissey is on another level tonight with his playmaking.

NUTS!

Some speculation that the “sold out” announcement is just Trump declaring it to save face and shutting down the scam, or buying them up himself (since it is all digital) or having others buy it as a money laundering scheme.

I honestly had to hunt around to make sure this was real. The world is now “The Onion” come to life. At least it amuses me. Check out his ad. He can’t even do a two minute commercial on script, and his stream of consciousness bleeds in every few words. Play with sound on.

Here is the MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT:
-
Dubois, among others, was on an IV after the game. Flu bug running through the team right now.
-
Unpopular opinion, but anyone who complains about Stacey Nattress had better be ready to crucify Doc Walker after tonight’s performance. I’d tKe her any day over most of the singers this year.

Canada still the only team to score against Morocco in this World Cup. And Morocco and Croatia (finalists the last time) both made the semis. The other team in their group was Belgium, world #2. Turns out Canada drew the “Group of Death” this year. Does this change any perceptions about their overall performance?
